      Made some apple kimchi yesterday, it's turned out fuckin lovely, no idea what to have it with though.

      Great idea this.   The only thing i can see being an issue is the lack of a physical divider or membrane between the lava rocks and the grit and subsequent layers. I feel like you'll want something keeping the voids in the rocks free of smaller particles which will inevitably end up settling there given half a chance. A bit of weed suppression membrane/landscape fabric or if you want to be fancy some terram would all do the job adequately I reckon.   Putting in a drain is also a good idea, water butt taps are a few quid and might fit underneath?   Good luck with the build dude , im keen to see what you come up with

      Beer traps for the slugs. Take a 4 pack of your favourite tipple, drink 3 whilst admiring plot, share the rest in your traps. Take beer to top up on every trip 😁

      And here's me planning to rock up with just a mini shovel, plant, small bag of soil and some water, i might have to rethink this through after reading this
