Hi people.

Can I snip of a bud that's 4.5 weeks in, under 12/12, try rooting it, while putting it back on 18 hours?
Is that a thing?

Did it 4 weeks in, worked great.  Included a pic so you can see how it grows funny for a bit.

Absolutely!! done it with an accidental breakage, cut it clean and put it in a bottle of water on windowsill for a few weeks and it grew a good root system after a while, went thru a strange growth period but turned out lovely.

but it worked, so good enough for me...

All good mate.  No adverse effects and seemed to root quicker - but I am poor at cloning so who knows really.  Grew back bushier than first time round.  Good luck!

Okay,

Small bud cutting taken and dropped in a shot glass of water.
Just have to wait and see now.
Looking forward to this. Hope she grows.
I might nick another bud, better to have a back up just in case.
