Government announces definition for cannabis-based products for medicinal use

29 posts in this topic

So if canna products are going to be available on prescription then there is a recognised medicinal use. Would that then force the govt to recognise foreign issued prescriptions for raw canna? E.g a quick trip to the states where you can get a prescription for a few dollars?

would this in turn be a route for Medi users to use as mitigation should the worst happen and they get a grow busted? “Sorry guvnor I have a script but no pharmacies round here can fill it so I filled the script myself”

Due to the known harms of smoking and the potential operational impact on misuse and diversion, smoking will remain prohibited.

I take it dabbing, vaporizing and edibles is not a problem then? :nenenenene:

The government has been clear it has no intention of legalising the recreational use of cannabis.

They had no intention of of legalizing medical use not so long back...

In-fact they claimed it had no medical value...

The flood gates are open and it's coming, they just don't want to admit it. :schmoll:

There's money to be had and Cannabis has the potential for making lot's, they won't be able to resist.

I reckon at the end of the day because the the businesses who are making the stuff are in it for the bottom line, they need to sell quantities. It won't be relatively long until its widely available for a range of illnesses.

Just my thoughts, big business is hand in (under)hand with the government.  More prescriptions = More cash.

They're not going to wear that, it will be considered as "  taking the law into your own hands " regarded much the same as vigilantism.

Is this the same vote that would be illegal if it made one jot of difference?............:wassnnme:

Imho it's best to be patient and see how it kind of pans out first. It's not a bandwagon to go jumping on because you might regret it. Depends on the specialist mostly though imo, maybe they already know you smoke so you don't have a problem bringing it up with them. Or they could be a cunt and start assuming shit about you if you come across as hinting for it.

Gonna need this to find the specialist - https://www.gmc-uk.org/registration-and-licensing/the-medical-register/a-guide-to-the-medical-register/specialist-registration

Good luck, my friend had an email from none other than Dr Ethan Russo himself telling him he should be on the green, if not that then Sativex of which Dr Ethan Russo was lead Neurologist for Sativex  (GW Pharm)

His GP was very uneducated and dragged his feet along, in a hope he would help, he wasted 8 weeks of his time and got nowhere, he left the GP to a new one, within 2 weeks at new place is getting to the correct people now.

Watch this space. (Hence my link to GMC as I had to tell him which Neurologist to aim for)
