For my second submission allow me to tell the tale of the little ugorg#1 who beat the odds - 

 

 

 

I've chosen an ancient form of verse for this story. Those of you who are truly cultured (and of a certain age) may recognise the form...

Now this is a story all about how

A plant got flipped turned upside down

So I'd like to take a minute now the grow is done

And I’ll tell you all the tale of Minigorg #1

 

In a wet pot of coco born and raised

Upside down was how she spent her early days

This girl caused me nothing but trouble and toil

Poking her taproot up out of the soil

Until one day when I pulled her out

Flipped her round the right way and put her back in the ground

Poor little plant was stunted and scared,

Said ‘I’m not growing for shit no matter how much you stare’

 

Two weeks pass and she’s starting to grow

She hated being transplanted, topped or cloned

But I persevered, tended to her needs

The reward - she started to stink of cheese!

Her five sisters are tall, they’re bloody hench

But they can’t beat the Minigorg’s heavenly stench

Dirty, cheesy exo funk

A prime example of old school skunk...

 

...Puuuuulled up to the tent, week eight or nine

She’s screaming at my nose ‘It’s harvest time!’

Never smelt a plant so strong in all my runs,

Many have probably already said this, but it is as true for me as all of the people I am copying off;

 

I deserve to win this because I am broke as a bum, and it will take me a while to be able to buy a good LED set up, which is unfortunate as my electricity bill being smashed in by my HPS is probably a main contributor to this sorry state of affairs.
