SCOPE-X-PRO & PAR+PRO diary...by Farmer G

Hello uk420 :)

Its been a while since i have been around and posting but i hope to be on here regularly from here on out, to those that where waiting on the updates for the new SCOPE-X-680 PRO all i can do is apologise for the lack of updates i will however upload some pictures from the most recent harvest from using the SCOPEX :yep: i must say the lights that Adam @diyleduk  @Diyleduk Craig are putting out for folk to work with are brilliant...well done guys

SCOPE-X-680-PRO

A little bit about the SCOPEX...when i received the unit the first thing that struck me other than its shear size was the way it was packaged...brilliantly secure and subtle for what it is with some great internal packaging making sure and protecting the fixture to a high standard. Its a plug and play unit with its own built in dimmer which range from 280w/410w/550w/680w respectively and has a hinged action in the centre fold so it can be angled as seen fit or if working in and apexes space like a loft.

The build quality is as you have come to expect from Adam and the gang is very high and its a quality fixture that reassures you before you have even turned it on ! when it comes to installation this thing is a beast ! will sit in a 1.2x1.2 area with not much to spare so the coverage is maximized...i hit great numbers with this also ;)

PAR+ 240 PRO

I was very impressed with the PRO from PAR+ range when it landed, again some excellent packaging and discreet which builds confidence that your fixture will deliver in every department, on first opening the box i noticed again the great lengths gone to for protection of the fixture it was really nice to see, when observing the PAR+ you cant help notice the slick design the beautiful red anodised heat sink...its a gorgeous design that's for sure  the other thing that i thought was brilliant is the bits that came with the fixture, you get the meanwell driver which is the beat on the market , you get yourself a dimmer controller that will dim your lights how you see fit you can also like these with the other fixtures including the SCOPEX and use the one dimmer controller to control all :yep: you also get a ratchet hanging set which i think is a great touch, Some pictures below of the unveiling...

Various plants in there, Lemon Lime pie, Footloose, Peach Ozz, Wedding cake Bx1, Z-money, Disco Biscuit, Not in any particular order here just an array of photos and below we will see them hanging for drying, single stemmed and big fans taken off but then left for 20 days before a trim :yep:

Some Macros...

So as you can see from above the SCOPEX throws down brilliantly and is a performer....form and function is rare these days but not from Adam and gang :yep: these are being released next month i believe not sure of the actual date, so if your thinking off getting something like this in your room then all i can say is go for it you wont be disappointed guys :)

Right back to the current grow !

Ive recently switched my carbon filter to mountain air as i was only getting 9 months from my recent Carboair filter and the one i had previously lasted double that time so thought i would try the mountain air range this time. I have the SCOPEX sitting in the middle of my modified 2.4x1.2 tent with a PAR+ 240 either side of the SCOPE X PRO this should maximize the optimal coverage of the area. My modified tent measures about 2.2x1.2 just for clarity with a head height of 1.8 the reason being this was in a loft at some point in its life !

The genetics im growing at the moment are all new and from seed as my mother stock is lost but that's another story ! We have Lemans from Swampboyseeds this is a mix of Lemon Tree x TK x TK x M10...TK is triangle kush or better known as wedding cake the M10 is an old Afghani strain iirc. We have some more Footloose from UGORG on the hunt for those super sharp powerful terpenes and i have some Sour Moonfire x Z money from Potvalley Seeds also.

I have some Sugar Tax from Batemans selections just germinated with some more of his work inward bound for me to look through...if your not familiar with Batemans selections he is doing some nice crosses with his work :yep:

So below is the picture of how the plants where a few days back after transplant...

As you can see the arrangement really does compliment it self and apart from being brilliantly effective its also aesthetically pleasing to those that like your room in a certain and organized manor...like me lol

After this they have nose dipped a little from transplant shock, i transplanted them maybe a little too soon and in a bigger pot than i would have liked i just couldn't find my 3.5ltr pots so had to opt for the 6.5ltr pots instead. Being fed the Organix range from @Intense Nutrients Matt although they haven't received any nutrients as yet.

That's pretty much me up to speed, hope everyone had a good festive period despite the times we are living in :yinyang:

Till next time...

Sorry to ask why do you think you had issues with Carboair ? They said to me it’s the fan I’m using ac infinity mixed flow doesn’t have pressure to fully use the pores in filter. What type of fan are you using ? The space looks very well used and lit , lovely plants .:oldtoker:

@McHazy - Cheers mate :yep:

@badbillybob - I'm no expert with LED myself mate but I know ill never be going back to other lighting ! Grab one when you can mate.

@TheGreenShabeenReturns - Thats a shame mate but always a next time

@Arthur Mix - Just didn't last long this time round thats all mate , got 18 moon from my last one but only 9 from.the most recent one I used...obviously you have environmental factors to consider too but half the life is quite a bit falling short...I also use their brand of fan toofso I couldn't possibly think it wasn't pulling enough.

Cheers guys

@FARMER G maybe let Carboair know about it. I have and they said they swap filter no probs . I rang to see how good the two year warranty is and was surprised. I got the feeling they appreciated the feedback especially when there’s diaries of the stuff documented . Interesting you using their fan is it the vector ?
they said to me they seen led growers have these issues due to lower air speeds as lower temps etc . They said I wouldn’t have an issue with their fans specified on filter If run 45/80 %. Seeing you having issues is slowing me down spending a fair bit of cash on a new EC fan and controller lol

@InTheSystem - Cheers man and yes let's get things rolling indeed !

@Arthur Mix - ive spoken to my local shop about it , been going these chaps 15+ years they  know the score, like they say all G.A.S will most likely say is that you've used it for 9 months so 3 cycles you should be replacing, don't get me wrong if it failed after one then yes id be in touch but i dont think i can say much despite the warranty, it would just be email tennis and cant be arsed with that lol

No mate i dont use their E.C fans just their system air RVK fans industry standard or what was for many years.
