I made this, which is essentially No 4 but with sound-proofing.  @Aonach

Very nice indeed. I like how it's suspended to dampen the noise. Thanks for posting.

Number 4 is very interesting. I had never thought of that and it makes sense. I have a dr240 and the 8" fan and filter takes up a lot of space.

Any suggestions on what to mount the fan and filter on outside the tent?

#4 acts also as a silencer so no humming air sound

i would imagine this would cost a fortune even if not on 24/7

what wattage is your AC?

I have a similar situation. Where did you buy these ventilation fans?

I don't know much about technology, but I think I can convert one of them for ventilation.

I disagree, number 4 is great for stopping smell leaks, as everything to the fan is in negative pressure, the fan to filter seal is the only high pressure part of the system at risk, aside from the filter itself. If you have a cheap, shit filter that is under-filled with carbon then 4 is a liability but apart from that it is good and saves space and headroom. TBH i can see no benefit from between 1 and 2, maybe the original creator wanted a symmetrical image

Great thread, I use a wheelchair (MS) and can't stand to hang the extractor & CF. I'm going to do #4 with a pillow in the bottom of a massive cardboard box. This will make life so much easier!

Peace
