greenvigilante
hi guys ive posted in various threads about omega leds and a reluctance to buy due to not knowing the diodes i had seen omega had the sellers updating the sales malarky for the above boards and that they had samsung diodes on them(no mention of bin ect tho) ive bought a couple of them to replace some lumatek 630w de cdms i had only making this thread to say that they are putting out more umol than the de cdms i wouldnt have known this but the guys who have posted about the uni t lux meter and the app to convert will update this every few weeks to see how the plants are coming along
MindSoup
You can't really trust them when they say what diodes they use anyway TBH. I think it was HLG who apparently claimed to have used more top bin Samsungs than had ever been manufactured at the time .
greenvigilante
aye true mate well whatever they are using they are putting a fair amount of light 430w led (fairly cheap) v lumatek 630 w de cdm (690w actual draw) truth will be in the pudding in a few weeks
KC
I've never tried de bulbs but I wouldn't be surprised if you yield the same amount.
BilgePump
Im inclined to agree with @KC , it'll probably be on par. My 465w led pisses all over a standard 600w sodium for yield in the same space.
