Nope, the whole plot is fenced with wires above and the fence (chicken wire) is put in de ground with hooks. Here in the Netherlands most growers do it this way.

I also use something called hertshoornolie, its a anti wild oil you put on something poraus like a tree ore a stone. Its stinks like a motherfucker, its very effective in combination with the fance.

Slugs pellets are 6% metaldehyde, good stuff, do's not rain away at all.

Your plot looks spot on mate. What are the main pests you have to defend against in holland? Is it the same as the uk, rabbit and muntjac deer?

Yeah, rabbits and a lot of row deer. I think its comparable with the UK.

Also the weather is more ore less the same, both sea climate. But of course the UK has more rain because its a island.

Its the reason i wanted to try out some of panik his seeds this year. Most seeds are cultivated in Spain witch have a complete different climate, i hope Panik his seeds are more resilient with the climate here.

Yep, and a big plus is that you dont have to go to your spots that often.

Yes, its striking from the air but so are black holes with soil ore cleared fields.

There is actually nowhere in the Netherlands as dry as the Eastern side of the UK, although I reckon you will be more settled in summer, UK genetics gotta be more suited than Spanish.
