Anyone know of any pike fishing venues, river sections and secret waterways/spawning pools in the York/Scarborough/Selby/Thirsk area that have proved a successful venture? I have fished Pottery Pond Strensall, Scarborough Mere, Wykeham (British Record 46lb There!) And the River Foss, had my best day on the Foss just behind The Shambles car park, (Redbricks as the locale call it) Between 2 of us we had an 8lber and 5 doubles, good days deadbaiting. Anyway, I want to get to know some more waters in lieu of winter, and possibly I might have a chance of catching a 20...my best mate had 2 out in one night on the Derwent (Stamford Br.) Jammy twat. Maybe I need to camp out there. Tight lines.
