I have a dilemma! I have tray of 22 cuts in blocks. They've been under a 250cfl for about a week to ten days and only three are showing roots at this stage. I inspected them very closely with the loupe this morning and found a few immature mites. I failed too find a mature one but there must be one or two dropping eggs. Do I spray them now and nip it in the bud or leave it until the cuts are rooted and stronger. Bearing in mind that the mites can take hold really quickly and we could be talking 2 weeks before they're all rooted. The mites could go mad by then. My temptation is to kill them asap. I might lose a cut or two, i have 22 and I need 18 for the next run. Spray them or leave it?
