DINAFEM SEEDS Deep Sweet Grapefruit Blueberry Cookies Orange Juice All to be grown under LED First things first. Many many thanks to @Dinafem-Mark for providing the seeds gratis. Thanks also to Adam @diyleduk and @Diyleduk Craig for supplying lights and exhaust fan. Tagging in @Intense Nutrients Matt as that's the feed I'll be using. Seeds For any of you who follow my other diary/s, this will be mostly photos and hard details, keeping the word count down if I can. I intended to germinate 2 of each variety, in an ideal world. So on the 26th of August, I began this grow by dropping a couple of seeds of each variety into 3 shot glasses with warm-ish water and a couple of drops of Hydrogen Peroxide 6 percent, for 24hrs then transferred to peat pellets pre soaked with 1ml/l of Great White mycorrhizal liquid in warm(about body temp) water. The peat pellets went into a propagator with a heat mat, to keep them above 22C, in the(new) Homebox propagator tent, currently on the bottom shelf, about 2 feet(60cm) below, but off to the side under a Highlight 220 LED from Diyleduk. To begin with I had the draw on the Highlight 220 set to 60W. I didn't check them for another 24Hrs, when I did I was pleased to see the first signs of life, but I didn't take any photos of them. After a few days, all but one of the Deep Sweet Grapefruit seeds germinated. I had hoped to have at least 6 plants, to fill out the 'Secret Jardin DRW150'. For those of you unfamiliar with the DRW150, it is 150cm x 90cm x 200cm tall, more details about that when we get to that stage On the 30th of August, I put the 3 remaining seeds in to soak for 24hrs as above, then I popped them into some small pots of seed/cutting compost along with some Old Timer PM granules I had lying around. Then stuck them in the propagator with a heat mat controlled by an Inkbird hc wifi version, set to 24C. SEEDLINGS Then I managed to accidentally decapitate one of the OJ seedlings when I was sticking a heat mat under a larger plant in the same space, luckily I had already stuck the remaining seeds into shot glasses with warm-ish water and a couple of drops of Hydrogen Peroxide, in order to make up the numbers. Decapitation shots Steamy windows A couple of days later and still only 1 of the Deep Sweet Grapefruit seeds has shown any signs of life. 2 of the Orange Juice seeds have survived my handling, but all 3 did germinate. All 3 of the Blueberry Cookies seedlings have also germinated, so I will stil have a 6/8 plant grow I'm really excited about this grow, being my first time running Dinafem seeds and the fact that this is all part of my switch from growing under HPS/CMH to LED. And the first time attempting to run 2 separate flowering areas at the same time, one on at night and the other on during the day. Today is the start of my 1st ever seed attempt, and this will be my second grow. Introduction to my enviroment; 2.6metre L x 1.6metre W x 2metre H insulation board room I built. There's a little more about that on my 1st grow diary. I will be using a wilma 8 pot xxl dripper system. Finals will be 25 litre pots, 1 inch clay pebbles at the bottom and the rest coco. 3 x 600w digital hps. 8" out take and a 6" intake which has ducting to a oil rad box build outside the room to draw warm air in to my grow room. 2m Tube heater to go down the middlw od the pots at lights out , 16" osc wall mount fan and tower osc fan on the floor. (pictures from 1st gro) I have lots of questions I'm yet to ask through out this grow which no doubt you lovely people can help with. I have 10 x sweet deep grape fruit and a gorilla freebee. Tonight I'll be dropping 10 sweet deep grape fruit into a glass of 20 degree water and placing in my air cupboard with door open for 12-18 hours . As I'm waiting for that I'll set up the t5 led light and propogator, I'll fill 10 x 0.5 litre pots with coco 3/4 full making sure it's not compact. I'll feed 20 degree water till 15% run off ? Then place seeds half inch deep and leave alone. I'll keep the temp in prop at 22 degrees. Just confirmation that the above is ok to do ? The main questions I have at the moment are, Soon as sprouted do I use a 18/6 light sceduale ? When am I expected to next feed the seedlings after I've put them in the pots and prop. And how much will I need to feed them as I don't want to drown them, a certain **ml from syringe ?. Thankyou every one and fingers crossed for a successful grow

Hello everyone and welcome to my first attempt at some of Dinafems genetics. Ive done a few grows in the bubblers now and I think I'm getting the swing of them. I just keep it simple as I can. Thanks to @Dinafem-Mark for sorting me out with the beans. He recommended a list of strains for me to choose from and i settled on.... Setup 120x60x160 tent in the loft 600watt mh for veg Dual spec bulb for flower 5inch extractor with rhino pro filter 19l Oxypots x 3 Hailea 600l/hr air pump Clip on fans x 2 Nutes Silver bullets roots Shogun silicone Vitalink Calmag Shogun Samurai Hydro Grow and Bloom I soaked some root it cubes in tap water then gave them a gentle squeeze so they are damp but not dripping. Then In went the seeds. one of each. I pick off a bit of the underneath and cover up the hole on top. They are placed into a prop, wrapped in a t-shirt and placed on top of my wee veg cab in the bedroom. A few days later and the Sweet Deep Grapefruit was out of the blocks closely followed by the Bubba Kush Ive been going through a bit of a shit patch in my life and at this point it started to show in my growing. I somehow managed to kill the Bubba Kush. No worries ill pop another bean. It came out upside down I tried to turn it round but it didn't take at all. I then popped the final one and it came up. I also had popped another bean from another breader. I wanted to try 3 plants mainlined. I always seem to have a bit of free space in the middle when i run 2. Last grow i had a few clones in compost to fill the gap but i still think there was room for more. I ended up keeping the 3 of them in my Veg cab whilst i waited for the tent to get freed up in the loft. I was hand feeding them with a spray bottle. Ive been real careless with the spray bottle and damaged some of the lower growth. They were starting to look a bit gnarly and not getting the love and attention they deserve Bubba Kush front left SDG back left They were being fed root it first feed at 6ml/l I moved them up into the loft last wednesday but they have to share the tent with my drying harvest in cardboard boxes as it absolutely stinks and I've nowhere else to dry it. Bubba Kush SDG I topped the SDG at the 4th node and striped everything below leaving me with 2 main shoots She was throwing out pistils flat out since being in the veg cab. Is this normal or something I've done wrong? Ive never noticed it before i don't think gotta lay off the shatter Bubba Kush was topped at the 3rd node and everything below removed The 3rd plant from another breader I chopped clean in half!! Knob. I tried taping it back together but it didn't make it. The Cana Gods have decided this was meant to be Dinafem only in this house I will let them grow out a bit before i start training them. I have only done this method a few times but Ive been happy with how they turned out. They are being fed EC 0.6 ph set to 5.9 Thats us all up to date with this grow. I hope I can do these seeds some justice so please feel free to help out along the way. Dab anyone???

Once again Dinafem has taken over the House of Freax for what I'm hoping will be a great show. Im using the Alien F&D system again in the same 5 pot configuration that i used for the Big Kush. Ionic Nutes have worked well for me from the word go so i will be sticking with them and using the Hydro Grow/Bloom and Boost Supplements will be Cal-Mag and Liquid Silicon Rocking the tent this time are: Sweet Deep Grapefruit Shark Attack Dinachem Purple Afghan Kush Amnesia Kush I soaked some Root Riot cubes for about 15 mins gave them a quick gentle squeeze to drain off any excess water then popped in the seeds. Now its time to sit back and wait for them to pop.

Heloo, all. Finally got the equipment I need to set up properly. Awaiting help to put up tent and set up equipment as I'm a bit challenged health wise, so currently got them under an LED light. Hoping this will be enough just to get them popped and started on their way. Will be transferring to tent once up and running with HPS, fan, filters etc. How far away should I have the lamp from pots initially? Thanks in advance 1 Kali 47 3 Sweet Deep Grapefruit

Big up to Dinafem for sending me some of their seeds to try (Deep Cheese & Strawberry Amnesia). In return, I promissed them a diary. I also had a few dinafem freebies from previous orders and thought it might be a good idea to test those at the same time. So here is the Line up: 4x Deep Cheese 4x Strawberry Amnesia 1x White Widow 1x Power Kush 1x Sweet Deep Grapefruit I've only smoked Sweet deep grapefruit before and i must say that i was quite impressed by the flavour at the time - hopefully i will get a similar pheno as my friend had. I also wonder if the deep cheese will be anything like the original cheese? Will the white widow bring back memories from the 90s? And will the strawberry amnesia taste of strawberries or melt my brain? It's been a while since i've grown fem seeds only! Have I sold my soul to the devil? Hopefully, all of these questions will be answered in the course of the next couple of months. Finally, will i be able to recommend dinafem to other people based on my experience? The seedlings are currently on their 3rd week of veg, topped and their 2nd pot up - currently 3,5L pots. I will do a final pot up in about weeks time and then the fun will start in roughly 2 weeks as i will switch to 12/12. The girls are growing in compost mixed with coco and I'll be using organic nutes throughout the grow - Switching between Bionova and Guano Kalong. Pictures and more details will follow shortly...
