  1. So this is the thing with autos. THEY ARE SHIT! Frequently no mold resistance. If you look at the more experienced growers on the site you will see they have little time for autos and it is largely because they are shite. Controversial but still, shite. The extra ruderalis genes make them a weaker smoke too, not to mention the tiny yields as befits miniature plants. Its incredible the seeds are the same price as photo plants. I know its all about the early smoke and I had decent results in 2012 of all soaking wet years. It was a slugocalypse and just rained and rained. I was surprised to witness Sour 60 seeds I was given by a fellow GG (bred by MDanzig) totally smashing it. There will be the odd one come along. However I really don't think autos are worth it. The smoke from the Sour 60 was way weaker thanKC 36 or Easy sativa. Read a few recent posts abound rotting autos. This is one of the driest summers ever but just wait one or two storms and the stupid crap autos will nearly all be turning to mush.... If you are gonna get out and do prep and take that risk then grow some thoroughbred monsters instead I say. I mean just look at how superior KC 36 and P Maroc are as examples. I am not running any autos this year thank fuck and will not again. Oh I know I will go do a load of back breaking work and take risks just to grow some tiny, weak, mold prone, extortionate abberations of nature. I am too impatient to wait for the sun so I will get some 'automatic weed'... super, semi, ultra, uber, HYPER-autos that are far better than silly old patience... Auto = impatience! Some will say photos grow too big for my garden/ balcony, um Helloooo this is why it is Guerilla Growing because its not in your garden or on your balcony! That is the great benefit of the wild places whether between industrial units and trains tracks or right out in the sticks. So you can go grow some potent monsters.... Thing is Loamy there is literally NOWHERE to grow around here for full size plants. Umm just look properly or widen your territory. But I can't be arsed/too busy. So just 'man up' a bit..., stop wingeing and go do it for fucks sake. Autos = Laziness! The breeders are laughing their tits off. Buy them twice in a season! Buy more to get a higher overall yield! Autos = stupidity! And the prize for being Impatient, Lazy and Stupid is..... 'YOU THINK AUTOS ARE GREAT WHEN THEY ARE ACTUALLY SHIT' ...please re read that last line at least 7 times out loud. .... autos  What a load of wank...

Hi everybody I'm new to uk420 and after years of indoor growing I'd thought I would enter the world of gorilla growing, now I've got a few locations sorted and now the weather has finally arrived I would like some help/ideas in choosing an ideal auto strain, I live in the good old north west of England lat 53 so as you can imagine can get a bit cold and wet so would like to grow a hardy strain and I've been looking at Iver Dutch passions auto daqurai lime, vision seeds new white widow,or cream caramel from sweet seeds, also I'm planning on starting my autos under my t5s for the 1st 3 weeks of life before planting outside I'm I right in thinking my autos will take longer than the packet says foe example the white widow I mentioned says 56 days from seed sounds to good to be true for outdoors?any and all advice is welcome piece hazydayz

  5. Hi all, I'll be starting an outdoor grow, south of the Mediterranean in a really nice, warm climate with loads of sunlight. I currently have my eyes set on Cream Caramel Auto (Sweet Seeds) and Super Skunk Auto (Sensi Seeds). How would these fair in warm weather, is it a good time to germ now? Thanks!
  6. Just thought I would share this here as I'm sure a few people will find this very interesting and informative. enjoy Phylos Galaxy Phylos has the world’s largest database of cannabis DNA featuring the genetic identity of thousands of varieties from over 80 countries. The Phylos Galaxy is a 3D population genetics visualization of this data, offering the public unprecedented scientific insight into varieties that, until now, have only been categorized by street names. Anyone can submit a variety to the Galaxy with Phylos Genotype, a DNA sequencing test that offers permanent placement in the Galaxy, a “living” digital genetic report that updates in real time, and digital marketing tools to share your exciting varieties with the world. The Cannabis Evolution Project The Cannabis Evolution Project was a two-year collaboration with Rob Desalle, a curator and phylogeneticist at the American Museum of Natural History. Thousands of ancient and modern cannabis samples were collected from around the world, and serve as the foundation for the Galaxy you see today. We’re still working hard to tell the evolutionary story of this diverse and amazing plant. How does it work? Each node, or star, in the Phylos Galaxy represents a single cannabis plant. The distances between nodes show how similar they are. The lines show how related they are. Samples that share a lot of genetic variants will be very close, and different genetic populations are represented by colors. How did you make the Galaxy? We sequenced the DNA of over a thousand cannabis plants and compared them. We mapped those relationships into three dimensions using Principal Components Analysis, a well-established technique in the field of population genetics. We combined this approach with other statistical genetics methods that generate “heredity lines” connecting closely related samples. Then, we made an interactive visualization. These techniques have never before been used to visualize a single species. Why is Phylos sequencing the DNA of different Cannabis varieties? We want to know how Cannabis has evolved, what its history was like, and how it has co-evolved with humans. We want to know what domestication does to the shape of evolution, and to better understand the complex diversity of hybrid strains. We’re investigating where they came from, why they’re so different, and what makes each one unique. And most importantly, we want consumers and patients to finally know what they’re getting and be able to find it again without relying on inaccurate names. http://www.phylosbioscience.com/the-phylos-galaxy/
  7. I'm about to embark on my first grow, I want to Guerrilla grow. I live about lat 51 in a quite remote, south facing spot. I'm having trouble finding a strain suitable for my requirements (I think I'm being too picky): * Short germination to harvest period (auto flowering). * A relatively high THC level I know this can be tricky seeing as a lot of the strains I've been looking at are mixed with ruderalis which I believe is quite low in THC. * Fairly easy for me to grow. * A decent yield I couple of quick flowering strains I've looked at are Royal Queens Seeds' Quick One and Royal Dwarf. Sensei Seeds' Early Skunk looked like a strong contender however some people on the forum said the seeds were dodgy. Thanks for the help:)
  8. After looking extensively through this forum for successful Uk outdoor strains and through my own research I have compiled a list of strains that look good to me . The ideal strain is one which is mold resistant (even though i know this can be unavoidable sometimes) and not too heavy buds as I will not be able to visit my plots too regularly . If any of you have any experience with the strains listed below any info would be much appreciated as to which I should stay clear of and which could be very useful in my circumstance . I will be going for approximately 6 plots spread out over a latitude of 50-51 this year and would like to narrow down my strain choices to 3-4 so any info would really help me make the right choices . 1. Kaya Gold - Nirvana Seeds 2. Northern Lights - Nirvana Seeds 3. Purple #1 - Dutch Passion 4. Blue Hash - Dinafem 5. Killer Kush - Sweet Seeds - 6. OG KUSH - Dinafem 7. Blackberry OG - Emerald Triangle 8. Diesel - Dinafem 9. Passion # 1 - Dutch Passion
  9. Over the last year or so I've spent a lot of time digging around the forums researching different strains and seed banks and put together this 'wish list' of stable and well rated seeds... Cheese is my favourite smoke but is very easy to get hold of so I'll order a UGROG Collectors Pack to keep aside for when that time comes. For now I thought I would stick to feminized seeds to keep it simple as I'm still trying to master the basics. Any feedback is appreciated! Amnesia Lemon - Barney's Farm Finishing up now, heard bad things about barney's but am really impressed so far! (250w HPS) CheeseWreck - Seedism BLZ Bud - Seedism LSD - Barney's Farm Northern Lights #5 x Haze - Sensi Skywalker OG Kush - Reserva Privada Blue Dream - Humboldt Grapegod - Next Generation Ghost Train Haze #1 - Rare Dankness Sensi Star - Paradise Caramello - Delicious Original Strawberry Cough - Dinafem Has anyone had any experience with any of these strains? Let me know!
  10. planning an outside grow, latitude 51 these are the strains I'm interested in, if you've had experience with any let me know how it went and your thoughts about them. -big bang auto -green-O-matic -blue mystic auto -sweet skunk fast version -sugar black rose auto -medicann kush fromage auto -skunk#1 auto -sensi skunk -whiteberry -jamaican dream cheers,
  11. From experience any strains especially not the norm's i.e frisian, highest yield from experience also done on time pref before mid october also do you think blue dream would finish on time p.s ive already had a look at the outdoor strain thread just seems to not to be very active.
  12. These pics were taken 2-3 weeks before harvest. Swiss Cheeses Biggest yielders yet. Serious bud density and bag appeal. Fruity smell, mixed hybrid smoke. Almost as potent as Biddy Early. Consistently massive from seed, fast and banging. Dud density was high so 10-15% losses in a wet October of 2013 on the 21st @ Lat51/52The indica structure buds made me expect it would be alot worse in all that wet. Fair few 8-10 oz plants made up for numerous others crappers. LIke Seedsmans Power Africa which was way too late and these'fems' were nearly all male too! His Mamma Mia was crappy too. Put me right off Seedsman now. The Swiss Cheese began flowering into September and it was slow starting, it looked unlikely to finsh for quite a while and then the flowers really piled on and did me proud in the last 2-3 weeks. Never grown anything so dense except Erdpurt's Golfball pheno. Blew my mind at the time as it doubled my Maximum yield pp! I would always grow it if it finished earlier but with outdoor drying i want earlier stuff for now.. Perfect Germination rates too and high vigour from the start outdid all other strains. Its problem tho was weak stems and branches. These were splitting off the plants due to those big heavy colas and winds. Staking main stems and netting/ circling in string was necessary. Aswell as first aid... Good quality esp for the price.. I grew 20-25. Due to their high vigour these are a good cavalry strain for replacement of early season failures and deaths as they will accelerate up to match or outsrip earlier planted plants of other strains i reckon. Really quite weak stems for there size Worth doing some if you can dry indoors. If grown in 2014 in that place some would have hit 14 oz pp or more!!
  13. hi, im looking to do (my first) indoor sgrog and wondered if anyone knew of the best strain?
  14. Hello Again Everyone.. Has anyone got any information regarding Gorlla Glue #4 Yet another strain that I'm curious about, looks intriguing.. Not sure of what is it where it's come from though any ideas? Thanks
  15. Hey all, anyone willing to shed some light on this?
  16. HI folks. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, neck, lower back and spine pain, muscle spasm, nerve pain, fatigue, depression…. :/ Ive looked at SO many effin strains now! I don't know if the descriptions are just dirty lure !! Do you think these are a good selection of breeds for my needs? Sour Diesel Blue Dream LSD Cinderella 99 Critical Nevilles haze Critical Jack G13 Haze What would you take away, or add? I don't really want heavy couch lock, i like to be floaty, creative. Thanks for your time.
  17. Hello Mark I am planning on running the Critical +2 next year. I am part of a collective so we are looking at a fairly big grow. Good old @@RandyBoBandy an infamous UK GG has had some success with some of your strains outside at 51 lat as have a few others. Could you please give us a list of strains that would be suitable In terms of mold resistance and finishing by mid October (earlier the better). Personally am not even slightly interested in Auto plants. Been looking at the Critical +2, Deep Cheese, Blue Cheese and Blue Widow as possibilities. The thing is because you are spanish with beautiful weather it is hard to choose from your stock for unpredictable UK seasons. Thanks in advance Loam Gnome

  20. Hi everyone. I'm a very competent old skool indoor grower from the UK. I just moved to Brazil, a few hundred miles south of the equator. I have some good local seeds and plan to start a personal outdoor set-up. I've been out of the game a few years, and wanted to know what strains are doing the biz currently. I'm back to Europe for a vacation before the end of the year and will be stocking up with new seeds, so any names would be great. Also, any experiences from growers in sub-tropical climates. Thanks.
