Anyone have any experience of the Secret Jardin oscillating fans? They are called the Monkey Fan because it can be connected to the tent pole at any angle or height. I have a 2.4 by 1.2 tent and use a 12 inch oscillating fan (no name brand) plus a small 6 inch fixed fan. Intake powered also. Monkey fans seem pricey and reviews are few. I purchased a few 6 inch clip on fans from the local market a few years back. Kept two and now just have the one. They were 6 quid each. I know some suggest having four small fans at each corner to circulate the air, but I'm thinking my oscillating fan plus two fixed fans, will create enough air movement. I do get some wind burn with the two plants nearest the oscillating fan, this time I raised the plants up and cut lower branches. I've also moved the oscillating fan so its pointing downwards more. Still creates enough air movement as every plants moves gently. Fans are left on all the time. Anyway, if anyone has purchased a SJ monkey fan, then let us know if its worth paying 3 times the price of a normal small fan for it. I was looking at the 20W oscillating Secret Jardin Monkey Fan. Cheers in advance.
We all put up with them or endure them at some point, it's not like indoor cultivation started yesterday, is the the best alternative? they are all pretty much the same I don't care what brand name they printed on them. Is this the usual British trait of :- this is what we have always used, there not the best but they do the job? I'm sure they were not designed for the extensive use that indoor garden demands. An oscillating axial fan would be more up to the task in my book, anyways I've searched every where for a specifically designed fan but can only find the "same old" with different names claiming they are the best. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction of decent alternative please, (not towers) or am I fanning up the wrong tree and dreaming of the perfect world again.
