Hi,
Week 3: I have a strange problem where the leaves are arcing round in a circle as they grow. Ignore the patchy leaves, I think that is down to stress when the tip of the tap root broke off as I transplanted. The other plants dont have that, but all of them have the strange growth patterns where the leaves grow around in an arc.
Any ideas?
Soil temp: 23C, Air Temp 24C, RH 65%
The plants (2 choc mint og auto & 1 sour diesel auto) were started in a peat plug, transplanted into Biobizz all mix soil. Then they were transplanted into larger pots with all mix and a bottom 1/3 or 1/4 of Ecothrive organic supersoil.
I have watered once since transplanting as the pots were big and full of already moist soil, they are only just needing another watering 1 week on.
Could it be light /heat stress? They are growing under a light I haven't used before Kingbrite 320W turned down to 50% at 50cm.
Could it be that they have reached the 'hotter' supersoil and are freaking out as they adjust?
Could it be that the roots are reaching the warmest portion of the soil just above the heatmat and that is upsetting them?
Many thanks,
Midge
