  1. Hi and welcome to this grow diary of Bubblegummer from Female Seeds, thankyou @Female Seeds Team for letting me take part in your Grow Battle competition and good luck to all Please take note these 4 Female seeds Bubblegummer seeds will not be germinated until about 7 days time but just thought i'd pitch up, introduce myself and start the diary off with grow method and equipment used etc. Now these Bubblegummers will be fully vegged and start fowering in my Secret Jardin DR90 tent under T5's, then maybe under a 250w mixed spectrum HPS once bigger, after that i'll switch to the 400w mixed spectrum or Sodium for the start of flowering in the tent. By then my current grow in the main room (converted walk-in drobe = 90cm x 90cm x about 180cm) i use should be finished so as long as i can get the Bubblegummers out of the tent i will transfer them into my main room and if the BG's are still in veg they will be under the Maxibright 315w CMH Daylight 942 lamp or if in flower the 930 Agro lamp. I fully expect the Bubblegummers to do at least all their vegging in the tent as they will have at least 8 weeks to veg in there before they have the opportunity to go under the CMH because my current grow has only today gone into 12/12. If the BG's need to start flowering due to size in the tent and i cannot get them out to transfer into the main room due to size i will just transfer the 315w CMH system and Parabolic shade into the tent as soon as i can. As you can see i'll be busy over the coming months, not actually grew in the DR90 tent either for a few years but i know the environment will be good because it will be set up in the same room as my walk-in growdrobe. On with my grow style, methods and equipment used. > GROWTENT > My tent is a Secret Jardin DR90 tent and a fair few years old now, not used for a few years and only actually used a couple of times since new. Not sure if they still even make these tents or if the quality is still as good? I recommend them if so because its vey well made, strong and fully lightproof. It measures 90cm x 90cm and i think around 180cm height so the same size as my main room i usually use. INTAKE/EXTRACTION. > The Air intake is active and powered by a 125mm Ruck fan fully controlled by a 3A 0 - 240v Variac, fully lightproofed. Extraction is a 125mm Temperature controlled Ruck fan (leepys box fan acoustic foam method done) with matching 125mm Rhino carbon filter. All Acoustic Ducting is used. Air circulation is x2 6" clip on fans. Thermometer/Hygrometer. LIGHTING - SEEDLING EARLY VEG. > Maxibright T5 4 tube fluorescent, 96w of power (24w each tube) and measures 59cm(W), 37cm(D) and 6cm(D), on/off switch and is wired to a Maxiswitch 2-way contactor (10Amps) and Grasslin timer, i have 2 of these units and i really recommend them for vegging as the keep the plants short, give off little heat and the light spread is great, i've vegged for 3 weeks using these units in the past and the result was very stocky healthy looking plants, they seem to love the light spectrum. I can fit both of my T5 units in the DR90 if wanted > LIGHTING - VEG/FLOWER > In the tent i will start off with a 250w mixed spectrum HPS then onto the 400w Sodium HPS both powered from my Lumatek digital 400w Switchable down to 250w if required, also has a Super Lumen switch on there which boosts the power to 440w i think when turned on. The lamps will be hung in the pictured white 80cm Parabolic as i'm going to treat myself and buy another reflector for the main room and put the current parabolic into the tent. Once my current grow in the main room has finished i will remove the 315w Maxibright CMH System and install it into the tent which if the timing is right wil be after a couple of weeks into Bubblegummers flowering. So hopefully after a couple of weeks into 12/12 i'll switch to the Maxiibright 315w CMH system which includes the Ballast, E40 - CMH adapter so that you can use your existing shade and both 942 Mastercolour Daylight for vegging and the 930 Master Greenpower Agro lamp for Flowering. I currently use a 80cm Parabolic with this system but are soon to upgrade to a new reflector for the CMH so this shade is going in the tent to use with the HPS. My CMH System and 942 and 930 lamps > MAIN GROWROOM > Hopefully the Bubbegummers will get to see my main room if my current crop finishes in time but as long as i can still get them out of the tent without damaging the plants they will be transferred into this room. The room is a converted walk-in wardrobe, The drobe measures 90cm x 90cm x around 180cm playable headroom so the same size as my DR90 tent, covered top to bottom in the Orca Grow film, everything is covered including the shelves and door. Easy to put up as its much stronger than mylar and almost impossible to tear, no glue or paste was used in the room as i stapled it on with a heavy duty staple gun. It's very bright in the room and the Orca is very easy to clean as spillages just wipe off being as its waterproof. Temperatures are always stable at around 27c lights on, about 22c off. Intake is a 5" twin speed Ruck fan fully controlled by a 3A 0-240v Variac and the extraction is a 5"Ruck fan with STR Voltage stepping fan controller with a 5" Carboair carbon fiter, the c/f is connected to 90 degree bend and Acoustic ducting used. Air circulation is x2 6" clip on fans. Thermometer/Hygrometer. This growroom also has a galvanised steel Scrog net i made and may be utilised for the Bubblegummers, if only to try an get a more even canopy. The pictured Parabolic in the main room will not be used in this room if the BG's get to go in there. > The lighting in this room is the above described 942 Mastercolour Daylight for vegging and the 930 Master Greenpower Agro lamp for Flowering CMH System. A new shade will be instaled but not decided on one yet. SOIL/NUTRIENTS > For this grow i will be using Clover compost from start to finish, using the old stock at the moment which is full of twigs and rubbish, i guess at least 15 litres out of the 50 litre bag was unusable but i've since heard that they had a problem with a batch towards the end of the old stock, newer bags are fine as other growers mentioned. This will be only my second time using this compost but my current grow seems to like it so we will give it another go. Nutrients are PM Oldtimer Grow/Bloom and various PM beneficials if needed. Granules will also be used and i have a full PM Essence kit if i ever need it. I've used these for many years with great success but i hear the formula has changed over the last few years, i'm still using the old recipe as luckily i purchased some 5 litres just before it was changed, still good and its about 5 years old but only opened recently. SEEDS > I'm very much looking forward to this grow as its the Bubbegummers which i've grew out a few times in the past but that was the X-Line version if it makes any difference? To this day the BG's is still one of my fave smokes, sweet and so moreish but the jars have long time been empty of this so cannot wait to fill some back up. This is what i said about it once > Just to get the juices flowing, here some Bubblegummer bud. > Thankyou so much @Female Seeds Team for the free seeds and bonus BG too! I knew my introduction woud take a while which is why i started the diary off today Next update will be in a few days time when i germinate the 4 Bubblegummers. There is a link to this diary in my signature below if you are out and about, see me and want to stop by. All the best everyone and Happy Growing.

  5. AGAIN!?.................. YES! DREAM BERRY: Genetic lineage: (Blueberry x Haze) x Nev Haze x Blueberry Cheesecake Indoor: 9-10 weeks Height: Indoor: 80-150 cm | Outdoor: 2-4 meters Taste/Smell: sweet and soft like Blueberry, with some woody Haze and herbal undertones Effect: Highly creative, energetic and uplifting high, the day companion you always dreamed of! The Dream Berry strain came from a stabilized Blue Dream clone mom, with a Blueberry-dominant Blueberry Cheesecake pheno. This hybrid is going to be your new daytime companion because of its highly creative, energetic and uplifting cerebral high combined with a smooth, relaxing body high. Dream Berry strain makes anyone talkative and can definitely be described as a social smoke. Dream Berry relaxes and relieves pain symptoms, nausea and alleviates depression. Dream Berry produces medium-sized to large buds. Predominantly rock-hard nugs with buds on the lower branches being fluffier. The Dream Berry plant is relatively short and compact with many leaves and wide lateral branches. Leaves are mostly dark green. However, one phenotype has a faint blue shine on her leaves whilst another has an almost dark purplish complexion, thanks to her Blueberry origins. Another important detail to mention is the noticeable abundance of long, thick pistils. The Dream Berry strain can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors preferably to be grown in an arid climate, a moderately humid climate or a Mediterranean-like climate. That is because of the compact bud structure and mould issues the plant would face because of too much humidity. Dream Berry flowers within 9-10 weeks when cultivated indoor. Dream Berry will start off slow but once flowering commences, she tends to spread wide, like a true Sativa. As stated earlier, Dream Berry is very easy to grow, forgives minor mistakes and does not need particular feeding nor requires any specific attention. Dream Berry loves to be trained, and topping can help to create space between the branches so light can reach the lower branches to maximize production. The smell is reminiscent of the blueberry because of her sweetness and because of the subtle berries tones. In conclusion, the smell is complex and with interesting pine/herbal sour notes thanks to her Haze ancestors. I really liked this one last time so I'm on the hunt for some blueberry swung variants again! I only had 4 of these and took a gamble that they would pop. The seeds looked underdeveloped and very small compared to the last pack. Two were very quick to sprout and get going, the others didn't pop their head up till a few days later! ALL GOOD! 4/4 100% as usual with Female Seeds! Dismantled and lightly cleaned the system, back together and here we go again. This one is gonna be tough! It's very hot here now. MUST USE A CHILLER THIS TIME! NO EXCUSES. Yep... got them nicely in focus this time! Here is their Great White starter boost. Just poured directly through the stones to start. will add to res soon as roots touch. We are go.

  7. "Gasolina.. dame mas Gasolina" SEED INFORMATION: CHEM OG: Genetic lineage: OG Kush x Chemdawg Indoor flowering time: 8-9 weeks Height: Indoor: 80-110 cm | Outdoor: 1,5-2,5m Yield: Indoor: 500-600 g/m² | Outdoor: 600-1200g/plant Taste/Smell smooth and delicate smell, intense flavour combination: sour lemon, pine and earthy with a pungent diesel/fuel taste. Effect: intense and long lasting, it combines an uplifting and stimulating high with a more sedative Indica effect. This exciting American Chem OG cannabis strain is the result of crossing an OG Kush mother, with a highly potent original Chemdawg father. Chem OG is a strong, resistant and sturdy stemmed plant. Thanks to her genes the plants present OG Kush-type buds, really dense and pop-corn shaped. Our Chem OG feminized seeds will give you a highly productive plant, with light green colored leaves (with different phenos, the leaves tend to get a yellowish green aspect) and vivid green buds. These buds are abundantly covered with orange pistils giving the plant a beautiful and attractive appearance. Besides the orange pistils the buds have with a very noticeable layer of wonderful trichomes. The smoke from the Chem OG strain is smooth and delicate, she charms with an intense combination of flavors. One can clearly distinguish pleasant notes of lemon, pine, earthy and a woody flavor. That is thanks to its OG Kush origins, while thanks to the Chemdawg father gives the strain a very distinctive, prominent sour taste of with that typical diesel/fuel taste. The long lasting effect of Chem OG is intense, and combines two different but balanced highs. At first an uplifting and stimulating high, which then develops into a more indica effect developing a more sedative effect. Even though is not a complete couch-locker strain, it still helps you relax and alleviate stress. Right... I'm on it!
  8. It's about time for a Berry Off! SEED INFORMATION: BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE: Genetic lineage: Blueberry x Cheese Indoor: 7-9 weeks Height: Indoor: 80-120 cm | Outdoor: 100-150 cm Taste/smell: Intense fruity cream-cheese smell and taste Effect: Powerful, yet balanced stone/high Blueberry Cheesecake (Cheese x Blueberry multiple hybrid) are selected from an extremely vigorous, smelly mother. We wanted to recreate a very special phenotype that we once found. It had the most amazing Blueberry Cheesecake smell. We succeeded! The Blueberry Cheesecake has two phenos that only differ in appearance. #1 pheno is short and bushy (classic Indica look). This will double in height from the beginning of the flowering stage. #2 pheno is tall thin shape (Sativa look) this will triple in height. Blueberry Cheesecake cannabis plants are very resinous, giving healthy vigorous plants with a light blue shine. Flowers are known to be lime green and dark violet in color with orange hairs covered in a blanket of crystals. It’s a really a big cropper with an amazing bag-appeal. You will be amazed of the huge trichome production covering the buds from top to bottom. Blueberry Cheesecake is perfect for outdoor, in Mediterranean climates and for Charas production. Blueberry Cheesecake will ensure a plant that has a very intense and stinky smell in the flowering stage: a carbon filter is highly recommended! The taste is fruit on inhale and cheese on exhale. Blueberry Cheesecake is a great strain for putting mind and body at ease. DREAM BERRY: Genetic lineage: (Blueberry x Haze) x Nev Haze x Blueberry Cheesecake Indoor: 9-10 weeks Height: Indoor: 80-150 cm | Outdoor: 2-4 meters Taste/Smell: sweet and soft like Blueberry, with some woody Haze and herbal undertones Effect: Highly creative, energetic and uplifting high, the day companion you always dreamed of! 9. Hi folks, Another year, another grow. My choice of seeds this year made easier by Mr B. whom kindly asked me to try out some of their Female seeds, So with arrangements made and seeds in hand we'll see how we grow from here... First Update to report for fellow growers and or course Mr B. Germination 16th March - 3 x Critical Sour and 3 x Outdoor Grapefruit Germinated inside plastic container with damp toilet for around 48 hours once the roots appear they are now placed in 1L pots. Seemed like a slow start, then again. Waiting for them to wake up always seems slow Glad to say they are all up and turning towards the light, which is always nice to see.. Anyway, first photo update now there's something to look at. photos taken 8 days after germ. Critical Sour Outdoor Grapefruit Just remembered, once the seedling lifted their heads i decided to use a half mix of root explosion from kayasolutions. So far they don't seem to mind and hopefully like it. Cheers

Didn't give her much room to grow but got some lovely buds with a beautiful aroma. Even if I get half ounce of this I'd be happy.
  13. Hello. Today I will be mostly planting some Grapefruits. I'm on the search again for some good genetics to bang into the hydro system next run, so have gone for soil this time! SEED INFORMATION: ORIGINAL GRAPEFRUIT: Developed out of a Cindy 99 cannabis, then bred with a fast flowering Sativa for some generations, it has been selected on its strong Grapefruit / Pineapple smell. This generation is selected on shorter phenotypes. She is a super-fast flowering cannabis strain, which will EVEN flower under 24 hours in low light conditions. This new style sativa is early maturing, fast flowering and maximum yielding. Stabilised on early maturity for some generations now. A highly praised cannabis strain and very popular for years, it is recognised for it’s pleasurable happy high, just like the old school sativa landraces. Only the flowering period of the Grapefruit is 8 weeks instead of half a year. It goes very well outdoor where citrus grow.A true winner!Flowering time: 60 days 8 weeksHeight: 0,80 - 1mSeed to harvest: 80 daysHarvest: MediumTaste / Smell: Soft and sweet yet very present citrus smell and taste, like grapefruit.Effects: Intense tropical high. ICED GRAPEFRUIT: This is a most interesting cross between the Grapefruit and ICE, making it the perfect mental painkiller. Where pharmaceutical antidepressants numb feelings, our Grapefruit cannabis makes people feel happy and enlightened, just like the good old Sativa. Then the ICE, being one of the strongest cannabis varieties of the world, is more of a physical heavy bodied painkiller. These medical aspects of both cannabis varieties should give this cross some excellent prospects. Giving you the choice to pick out your own perfect keeper, whatever suits your desires.Expect long big buds with a height around 1.20m. The smell will be very special with the fruitiness of the Grapefruit combined with the black hash ozone of the ICE.Flowering time: 8 weeks.Height: 1 - 1,20 m Seed to harvest: 11-12 weeksHarvest: HighTaste / Smell: Strong sweet smell and black hashish taste, very medicinal cannabisEffects: relieves pain and feelings.
  14. Three of my favourite things .. outdoor, grapefruit, critical, and females .. sorry four. I've dunked 5 of each .. I'll select the best of each strain for my home garden, the rest will have to slum it out in the countryside somewhere .... Excuse the group pic, I've lots to do. I have autos on the left, the Female Seeds Photos are on the right .. Out of 10 seeds, 9 popped evenly, that's at the same time .. consistency excellent so far. One didn't even crack, scarifying might have helped .. one you lose, a 90% germ rate is excellent. I'll update as things get interesting and I can separate the individual grows and my plans for them.

Again I'd like to start a thread with a huge thank you to Mr B @Female Seeds Team, without going into too much details all I can say is he must have the patience of a saint to put up with my greetin pan (crying moany moaning emails ). Not only that he only gave me some of the Sexy Bud pips to try too - that will come next time or maybe the next again as I'm now thinking about the dreaded Chr**t**s season and trying to plan accordingly. Not only was this geezer patient he gave some invaluable advice and came accross as the type of person I'd love to share an afternoon evening getting blasted with. You sir are a Prince among men. Same format as my Serious/Sweet threads (apologies for mentioning competitors but I really can't be assed writing it all up again - if you want to know the details they're here (how's about that for a bit of brass necked self promotion);- and here This lady I think is my favourite of this lot because she only started late she only got up to 3.5L pot but she has got them legs. I topped once back to the third node after she reached 6 nodes (bigger root mass quicker recovery time) and pinched the top two at the same time to have 4 even tops. What can I say about her - the man from Del Monte has arrived in the grow - yummy pineapples whenever you brush her. Drinks like a Scotsman too Thanks for looking
