  3. is there any point in early spring when the sun basically follows the same path/height as it does in september for our sorts of lats? first year at this plot - found it in january so I never got to see the way the sun behaved in september unti september got here - Unfortunately, standing there in late sept early oct I realized I had misjudged the sun's path quite badly as most of the girls were in complete shade for most of the day caused by the lower angle of the sun getting blocked by the native plant cover. Some parts of the plot were still geting direct light - but none of them had any plants in them. Its a sensitive type of location with very few windows to get into the area unseen - so visits need to be kept to a minimum, meaning I still dont have a good enough mental map of which parts of the plot get direct sunlight at that crucial time of year so I'm wondering if there is a time in spring that will give you a fair idea of what the sun will be doing at harvest time or does it differ greatly height or vector wise? I seem to remember some one posting a link to an app for this type of thing about six months ago but my cannabis addled memory may decieve me thanks for any help peace out MM
  4. Hi all Newbie here, real elbow-arse confusion merchant when it comes to this sorry ... Brought some seeds back from West Indies holiday, planted spring and grew in a casual back room setup, natural cycle, so the couple of females that resulted are well into flower (4 wks?) now. The seeds are definitely Jamaican origin, taken from weed. One is clearly a goer - and a keeper imho..? I'm basically trying to work out when to chop, so any advice on the exact strain of wtf I've grown here would be very helpful indeed! From the descriptions given in m2jlv ll's excellent Jamaican Brickweed diary (http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=224807&hl=brickweed&page=1), I think it could be a Brickweed. More details of the grow are in my profile. 2 pics are attached here, 3 others in profile. The smell now in flower is distinctly cat-piss by the way . At the moment, I'm waiting for i) more brown and little/no new pistil growth and ii) trichomes to turn cloudy or amber iii) buds to swell up a bit more. Plan is to wield the axe when half the trichomes have clouded. I'm after the more psychoactive end of things, so would err towards chopping early rather than later - nearly did it yesterday actually but good advice found here made me wait... Any advice on strain and/or harvest timing would be very much appreciated, thanks guys. Cheers all sputnik

  6. Hello all, I am hoping that someone can tell me if these are perfectly normal or do I need to worry? I have only noticed them in the last few days I did give a nute boost 3 days ago. I am now flushing with water until harvest. I had heard that some females can hermie, but I didn't think so at this late stage. Strain: Northern High Lights - Cloned from female mother 7 wks into flowering - nearly harvest time? WhirlyGig
