  1. Hello everybody I’m going for my 1st indoor grow and I’ve chosen to give DWC a go as I’ve always wanted to master hydro. ive got a 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.8m hydrolabs tent...which is bloody lovely to be honest ive got a 600w digital ballast light with parabolic hood Rhino pro carbon filter 125x300 Ruck hi power fan with a digital fan speed controller attached to that 70l oxypot xl reservoir (with two oxygen stones) I’ve got aquarium water heaters to maintain solution temperatures A fan to circulate air inside the tent I’ve gone with canna Aqua Flores and vega , and have canna start, cannazym, rhizotonic, and canna boost accelerator as my nutes....(I’m sure there is better out there in regards to cost and results but I thought I couldn’t go wrong with them for now) i got got some silver bullet roots too just to be safe ive got a PH and EC meter with buffer solution for both ive done a test run and generally my environment has been running at... LIGHTS ON; 24.5 degrees Celsius 50% humidity LIGHTS OFF; 16.5 degrees celcius 50% humidity IM REALLY HAPPY WITH THOSE RESULTS what do u guys and girls think???? I WILL BE TRYING TO WARM THE GROW ROOM UP WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE OFF DURING THE 1ST 3 WEEKS OF FLOWER THOUGH...AS IM AWARE THAT THIS CAN PREVENT UNNECESSARY STRETCHING OF THE PLANTS DURING THAT PERIOD...would anyone be able to confirm this to be true??? Just going off previous research on that one but thought it might be a valuable tip to any grower if it’s true...? my main area of concern is the PPM of my local rap water... an R/o system is a no go for now but if all goes well I will invest in one for future grows... anyway... the PPM of my rap water is 212ppm (after I’ve put it through a filter jug)... is this fine for seedlings? Baring in mind I wanted to add some cannastart to the seedling solution... And once I start early stages of veg...will this ppm level have too much of an affect to the amount of nutes I can add at one time? Or am I just worrying about nothing? My ph is 6.5 so I will probably need to adjust with ph down to get to around 5.7-5.8 and I’m aware that this will bump my ppm levels up too...? sorry for for the essay! And cheers for reading! Experts please feed me with ur knowledge Cheers
  2. Hi All, This is my first post. And am just after some advice on what strains people have used to maximize yield etc while just doing LST ..... I am currently on my 2nd grow both have been very successful in my eyes.(I'm a fiend for a YouTube video and have researched everything:-) ) My issue with my last grow is the strains I used did not fill my grow space therefore felt I could go with a larger this time was 1x RQS critical auto and 1x diesel auto both very short strains(1x critical seed didn't wanna pop) 1st grow was 3x RQS white widow auto ( should of left growing longer but as was 1st grow did not LST or anything) Anyway ... Back to the question .... Best auto strain for LST ?? People thoughts ? Thanks CannaZ123
  3. Hi, iv been given a small plant by a mate, he got it from a friend but he dosnt smoke so gave it me. It’s a single very small shoot at the min with a couple of tiny leaves sprouting, It’s Only about 50mm tall. However iv never grown weed before have zero kit and not untending to buy any for 1 plant. Just after some very basic tips like how often to water, what sort of pot and soil to use, when to harvest etc. To get the best weed given the lack of UV lighting and kit Thanks for any advice
  4. Hi all, just wondering what your thoughts are on this setup, I’m planning on 4 plants scrogged, each one under a 250w hps in a 1m parabolic reflector, reckon it would be enough light? Some of you may have seen the test plant I’ve got in at the moment, it’s a little purple bud auto and I’m playing about with lighting really just to test it out, can’t make my mind up about the lighting though, I know I could get away with 4x 600w hps but it’s in a loft and I don’t want it to get too hot up there, cheers and happy Toking, RGB
  5. Hi all, im new to the forum and excited to be here, a friend @maverick40band I are looking to start up a personal grow and are looking for some good advice/ information, we are fed up with unreliable, poor quality or overpriced products out there and would like to have a clean tasty reliable source of our own. At the moment we are completely undecided on the best way to set up our tent. Hydroponics or soil grow? Potsizes? Light types? Fan/ extractor sizes? Nutrients? We are looking at a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.4 tent and would like to grow 8 plants, is this tent adequate for the quantity and if so what equipment is needed to setup the tent to achieve a perfect grow environment? We do have some ideas of our own but would like some fresh ideas from experienced growers to compare notes and to see if we are on the right lines. I won't tell you what we have in mind as i feel we will benefit more from the knowledge and experience of this forum. Any advice on the equipment you would recommend, what and where to buy from, things often not thought about when setting up, recommendations on soil or hydroponics (pros and cons), or just any information you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. We are fairly new to this, we have a couple of 1-2 plant grows under our belts, so we are looking for as much knowledge as possible. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to hearing from you all.
  6. Hi all, Starting up again after a long time off. I've come back and the market is dominated by expensive CMH 315 bulbs. Going to be growing a 4 pot Wilma system in a DR 90 (90cm x 90cm x 180cm). I'm torn between sticking to what I know (a 250w HPS throughout the grow), or going for a CMH 315. Obviously, the later is more expensive, due to the bulbs. I have however seen quite a lot of posts on social media etc about the benefits of 'full spectrum cannabis', although this may just be in relation to the oil extracted from it. Does anyone know how this will affect (if at all) growth of autos and their yields? Cheers!
  7. Hello all and thanks for to admin for approving me. Excited to join the community after spending many hours reading up on several topics. I'm looking to start my first (small and low budget) grow and although as stated I have done quite a bit of research I'm getting some mixed information so would appreciate if anybody could point me in the right direction on a few things. I intend to grow only two plants to begin with, most likely some autoflower NL or Jack Herrer as I've read that these are short, easy to grow and less difficult to keep on top of smell wise than say Blue Cheese or White Widow. TENT Firstly, I have a tent 80cm x 80cm x 160cm that cost me next to nothing from Amazon. It has a couple of pinhole (and I mean a hairs breadth) that are sometimes visible through the zip - will this have any negative effect? This may sound silly, but I've stood inside it zipped up and I can't see jack, so I'm guessing it's nothing to worry about? LIGHTING I impulsively bought 2 £30 no-brand "216w Dual Spectrum LED UFO Grow lights" to go with it. I saw on Youtube that the actual draw of these lights is 65w but they apparently emit the same amount of light as a 216w HPS. The description is as follows - LIGHT SOURCE: 72 pieces of 3W LEDs, high lumens of 21,600LM, high power Par Value ensured, it is environmentally friendly. BLUE LIGHT: contributing to plant photosynthesis, promoting growth, protein synthesis and fruit development. RED LIGHT: promoting rhizome growth, blossoming and bearing fruit, extending flowering phase and increasing output. FULL SPECTRUM: wavelength of 410nm-730nm, white and warm white, providing natural light for various plants in different growth period. GREAT HEAT DISSIPATION: built in a cooling fan ensures great heat dissipation and long lifespan of 50,000 hours. After further research on these cheap no name LEDs I have come to the conclusion that this description is most likely bullshit. I stuck a couple of Komodo Dragon chilli seedlings in the tent a fortnight ago, to give the lights a test run and also to see if I could control temperature and humidity with the basic equipment I have. The fan in one of them is already bust and I'm going to return it. I don't hold much faith for the lifespan of the other one either and still have 20 days to return them both for a refund or replacement. Would I be best to get a refund, steer clear of these shitters and go with a CFL, perhaps a 300w as this would give me approx 50w per square foot? VENTILATION This is what I'm really struggling with . The tent is in a bedroom, which I spend most of my time (I live alone in a large upstairs flat and its cheaper for me to heat one room in the winter) and from what I've read, for me to effectively run exhausts and intakes outside would mean I'd need ridiculous lengths of ducting and stupidly high powered fans all over my place or start knocking holes in ceilings (which is a no). Is it okay to run intake and exhaust into a small tent from within one room? My tent is 35 cubic feet. I have a small duct booster that I intended to use for intake that is rated at 103/cfm. It's nice and quiet, low powered and didn't cost much. I'm looking to purchase an extractor and have found this formula on google to work out my needs - "To calculate multiply length x width x height of growing area e.g. A room that is 8' x 8' x 8' will have a volume of 512 cubic feet. Your extraction fan should be able to adequately exchange the air in an indoor garden once every three minutes. Therefore, 512 cubic feet / 3 minutes = 171 CFM." By this theory I'd only need a fan with a rating of 11cfm which can't be right can it? After using another calculator on a Hydroponics store website they advised me that I would need a 200cfm fan with a 300mm carbon filter. Does this sound more realistic? Also I've read that the restrictive effect of the filter will deduct 20% from the CFM rating of the fan which would only give me 160cfm, which I'm guessing won't be enough with my 103cfm intake to maintain negative pressure. This shit is baffling me. Would I be better to buy a 200cfm extractor and filter, open up all the vents for a passive intake? Would that mean I'd have to run the extractor fan non stop night and day, or would I have to do that anyway? I'm guessing so if I need to maintain negative pressure. Carbon filters - After much reading I pretty much get the jist that Phresh, Can etc are the dogs bollocks and the cheap £20ers are not worth a wank, even that the Rhino Pro's arent 100% in odor control. I've learned from my experience with the lights that there is a lot of shit out there and skimping can be a false economy but my budget is seriously tight. Can anybody tell me from experience if some of the cheaper but branded filters like OX, RAM, Rhino hobby, Swiftair etc actually do the job (even for 6 months) of removing the odor. Like I've said I'm not talking about a warehouse full of prize winning Cheese here, just two plants. I also know there is the DIY option, I'm pretty handy but I would be pretty pissed off if I spent the time and effort making something that is no better than a £30 jobby I could have ordered from the bay. I've found a site selling Rhino Pro's starting at £35 so I'm edging towards this, but the skimper in me says to try a cheap nasty £45 full kit with a fan from ebay. After all they've sold over 1500 with mostly positive feedback. Thanks in advance to anybody that reads this and can give me any tips, hope I've not put you to sleep. BN

Photos at bottom of the post Hi, I’m growing 4 plants (Feminised Northern lights automatic) 8L fabric pots soil: plagron light mix (with perlite) Fans: Static 6” on highest setting Nutrients: None (Baby bio is coming tomorrow) Carbon filter + extraction (I have a 6” but currently it’s not in use) smell isn’t currently not a problem but I’m unsure how to set it up correctly Temp: not monitored Humidity: not monitored Small seedlings are 5 days old The larger one is 17 days old The leaves are slightly yellow. Any suggestions why my plant is slightly yellow (im thinking lack of nitrogen or co2) and is my plant looking the right size / healthy for 17 days old. Photo1 Photo2 thank-you
  9. So, I hail from the north of england and have jus started my second grow. A little about my first.... it was complete noob attempt with only advice from one or two people I know and the rest online which tbf is great but only reading other people's question and answers doesn't always help, so here I am! Anyhow it didn't to turn out bad at all, considering poor basic set up and using just guessed estimates on feeding with poor ventilation system, no ph testing the filter on the floor and no intake fan so yeah as you can see any return you would be happy with and I returned 560g of very decent, strong effecting buds yet no smell unless you grind up which I believe now is due to my drying skills but that for another time....So after getting my hands on the basics I'm away on my second hence finally getting my ass into gear and signing up. My cuurent grow. I've upgraded parts to a limit I could afford and changed my feeding etc.....So I have a 3m x 1.5 m x 1.6m roof cube tent. My carbon filter with fan attached is now hanging at the top of the tent, ducting leading out of the tent. At the opposite end I have intake fan with ducting leading into the tent. Inside a big oscillating fan along with 2 small 6 inch clip ons. As for lights I have 2 600w hps lights connected to 2 digital ballasts ranging from 200w to 600w(running 1 light at the moment, later explains) I don't think it's a bad set up but any advice but be highly welcome I will try attach photos if possible. The feed i have opted for this time is old school orig canna a & b, rhizo, cannazym and then my own additives down the line which include bud blood, bloomblastic and big bud. I'm now oh testing my water to around 6.0 I believe it is that is best, well between 5.8 and 6.0? ..... if your still reading my long my long winded essay on this Saturday night then I do seek some advice as always! Firstly ..... I put 10 cuttings into 12 l fabric pots on Thursday night. They are currently sat under just 1 light, running at 400w as I've been told to up to 600w and bring the other light in once they have rooted in there new pots, is this the case? Or should I get more light wattage on the baby's. They are also sat 55cm away from the tallest cutting although they are all pretty even, is this correct? I'm also running them 24/7 right this second as I've read this is jus as good or even better then 18/6, is this a matter of opinion or factual? Last time I ran 18/6 for 5 weeks before switching to flower, I'm worried if I do 4 weeks of 24/7 I will kill them or something bad etc? I have been feeding them less then the table says from canna as ive always read it's very high feeds from them, I dropped a&b to 10ml of each obvs, and 25ml of rhizo. I pre fed the cocoa before potting the cuttings in with this mix. but I didn't feed aagain once they was in the cocoa, should I have give them a slight feed again? I'm now around 48 hours later so going to check to see if needs another feed tonight if it does then the same feed as the first I probs will go for before I up it, or should I up the feed already? If your still awake i award you, and for any advice and help thankyou! Hope to hear from you all
  10. Whata good peoples, after being let down by Sensi on two occaisns with there northen lights #5 haze seeds I have gone for amnesia haze. As I did all my research on northern lights is the strain similar to amnesia? Also would it be the same veg time as northern little to no veg time?.
  11. Hey, lurking for a while but this is my first post! Recently invested in an 8-pot Autopot system with a 100ltr reservoir, will be growing in a 70/30 coco/perlite mix and was looking for some advice on which brand of nutrients to use. I've been eyeing up the Cyco Platinum range or the Canna Coco nutes, but I'm aware Canna also have Hydro nutes. Anyone have any advice or recommendations regarding these or any other nutes? If anyone has grown in Autopots with coco before would definately appreciate you chipping in your 2 cents. Open to all ideas. Thanks guys
  12. right guys n girls, here goes i have been given the green light to convert a cupboard at me grow pals gaff, am using a dr90 in it at mo but its a bit too big to shut the doors and keep it sort of stealthy, it measures approx 4ft wide 2ft 11" deep and roughly 8-9ft high. i went over today to take some pics to show you guys and to hopefully get some help, ideas and advice on the best way to go about it as to be honest i aint got a scooby!, iv always grown in tents . first pic is of where the tent is now, could`nt move tent out on me own today i was in loads of pain, ffs, also thats why ducting was on the floor, there is obviously a frame already there (for the doors ) to stop light leeks around the top and sides, its a bit wobbly so need to sort that. would it be best to put some 2x2 or 4x2 at bottom to stop light leeks there? and maybe another down the middle to stop leeks when doors are closed?.there is another cupboard right next to this on the left and was gonna cut a hole the size if a plug, to keep all electrical equipment there?.am i best to use white matt paint or buy some reflective sheeting for inside?. as for intake and extracting, i was going to extract in to the loft, not been up there yet and dont think its insulated would this be a problem? also its so small up there you have to crawl! (i`ll take some pics in next few days). as for intake , this is where it gets a bit weird, there is an airing cupboard (second pic) outside on landing (with a weird mesh thing boxed in, going from the loft to the only way of describing it is a walk in cupboard in the kitchen downstairs!) and it backs on to this room im growing in and the room next door so could i cut a hole and join it to this boxed in thing? pic 1 of cupboard with tent in pic 2 of airing cupboard with weird contraption boxed in, soz bout the mess me pal needs a tidy up lmao pic 3 is of this mesh thing, looks like solid ducting going 3/4 of way down? pic 4 is where this mesh thing starts in airing cupboard pic 5 is where it ends, downstairs in a kind of walk in cupboard in kitchen? tbh, if i did`nt know better i`d say the people who lived there before me pal were growers! just my 2p tho could be wrong just looks a bit suss to me! so, any help, advise or ideas on materials and best way about it peeps please post away! thanks as always, coys
  13. Hello guys and gals, As the title suggests I'm after a good quality oscillating fan, surge protector and timer for my 1.2mx1.2m tent. I thought I'd ask the experts seen as you've probably already done the research and tested some products. I'm currently using a very old smith timer which is working fine but am in need of another. Not really sure whether I need a surge protector but the fear of a fire makes me want to buy this to put my mind at ease. Let me know your recommendations please, I appreciate your support and guidance. Dave
  14. So, I've currently got a CBD Therapy grow going on in a 1 x 1 x 2 metre tent, which is going nicely. However, I now have the availability of a greenhouse in which to try a few grows in. I put a Therapy Clone in there last week & after just checking on her she looks really healthy indeed, like she's loving it in there!! I guess that now, in the UK at least, is the best time to be getting your pre-established plants outdoors if you can. I read somewhere that early June is the ideal time to get your plants outside & that once the summer solstice passes on the 20th June (which is in a few days time!!) the plants will naturally start entering the flowering stage. Is this so, even if I only just put the plant out in the greenhouse last week? I put a couple of new strains into seed a month or so ago and I'm currently vegging them in my holding tent with the intention of transferring them into my flowering tent once the CBD Therapy that's currently in there has been harvested, but now, based on seeing how the Therapy clone is taking to the greenhouse, and the natural, full spectrum light, I am wondering whether I'd be better served transferring these new strains into the greenhouse asap, ultimately looking to harvest sometime around mid October. What do you think fellas, what would be your advice on where to put my currently vegging strains now that I have a greenhouse available? The new strains that I'm asking your advice on regarding the growing environment are all Sativa dominant strains, all 75-25% Sativa's; Super Silver Haze, CBD Mango Haze & Strawberry Sour Diesel.
  15. Hi Guys, I'm Dave and I'm a noob to growing. Im finding it difficult to get information regarding cheaper LED brands as a lot of the brands mentioned on forums/youtube seem to be either exclusive to the US or not around anymore and certainly not accessible to me in the UK. So, to the setup so far: 4ftx4ftx6ft tent 5" rvk fan with 6" carbon filter attached for outlet 4" rvk fan for inlet plagron allmix root bags beginners mistake: 1 x Wappa, 1 x vertigo (auto), 1 x Mexican Sativa, 1 x ruderalis indica (semi-auto) and 1 x either cambodian or jam sensi... and yes I now know I shouldn't have gone for all different seeds, but they're about 6" tall now and I don't want to start again. I figured I'd just experiment this 1st time and use it as a learning experience and not be too upset about yield. I managed to get all the above for what I think is a good price (£200). the final thing I've been researching is my lighting and my eyes are finding it difficult to cope with reading screens most the day trying to find the best bang for my buck without getting fleeced. I've got an absolute max budget of £300 and I definitely need to go the LED route due to other means producing too much heat. I've been in-touch with Mars who recommended the mars2 1200W or the reflector 192. They seem okay, however, I'm not fully convinced as I've heard that 1200w lets out a lot of heat. Should i go for one big light to cover it all all loats of small ones? Heat is something i want to keep to a bare minimum and 300 quid is max. As you can tell ive only really found mars to be within my range and would really like to hear about other affordable trustworthy brands. I would really appreciate any of your suggestions. thank you Dave
  16. Hey all, I'm just embarking on my first grow from seed... Have soaked them in water until they cracked, paper toweled them until tap roots are there, popped them in to root riot blocks. They're under T5 lighting in a propagator and am feeding them with low dose Katana root feed. They're about an inch or so tall now and the cotyledon leaves are starting to sprout.. So all good news so far! Questions - How long to keep them under 24 hr lights When to pot them up What to pot them up in to (going in to flood and drain hydro in peddles) And any other wise words of advice would be great fully received Cheers in advance BKB
  17. I have been growing my first plant for 3 weeks and everything looks ok but I'm just basically looking for advice. I'm using canna hydro and the ph is 5.7.The light is on 16hours off 8hours. The plant is either cheese or strawberry cough.
  18. So I have a cupboard thing I want to grow in just to veg clones and seeds ect so here gos First problem is it all concrete like walls same as every wall in my house how can I put in shelves ect as every time I drill it just bends or snaps my drill bits and yes they are masonry drill bits ? Second i was thinking of useing my spear 150watt mh/hps if I decided to do a auto in aswell at some point what would you guys use in a space that is 2.2m tall 45cm deep and 70cm wide ? Thanks in advance Bless
  19. so i have now got a grow space my last tent was a 60x60x140 i was running a 250hps but now i know it was to small so what size light could or should i run in there thanks guys
  20. Advice on how my seedlings are looking, please ... ---- Hello All, I really love this site/ forum, tons of friendly advice, I've enjoyed taking it at my own pace taking in what I'm reading, a lot to learn. I'm technically not a newbie, but kind of want to claim the status as it's got to be 7 or 8 years since my first real (one and only) previous attempt at growing, that was messed up by light leakage in the 12/ 12 flowering stage (harsh lessons) ... now I'm back, a proper tent (not like before), older and hopefully a bit wiser ... Hopefully the following won't be too scatty and all over the place. Set up is; 1.2m x 1.2m black 'mylar' tent, running a 600 hps in a loft 10 feminised seeds in 3C Coco medium 5x Strain Hunters Money Maker 5x Heavyweight Fruit Punch [i've no idea if 10 plants is going to be too much for the tent, or if the fruit punch grows too high, I guess time with tell ... the 2 metre tall tent has had to lose some inches to fit in the loft space, but not much] I think I had the 600 hps way too low to start with (thankfully didn't fry the poor things) was 2 and half foot at the closest, I keep moving it away, and away, it's at the top of the tent now! I have a circulating fan inside the tent coming on, at it's lowest setting, for 15 mins every hour (not at night) ... the 5" TT extractor fan is sucking away seems quite effective at getting rid of the excess heat now it very close to the hps. The temperature was 28 oC at its highest (though touching 30 early part of last week i.e. when no over cast skies) ... but only 18 oC at 'lights off/ night' :-s the (relative) humidty was always been on the low side 30% (higher at lights off), I figure it'll pick up as seedlings get bigger (though I did read the whole thread here about mini- foggers etc) ... should I be worried, *really* worried about a 10 degrees drop in temps?? I've just been looking into the (initial) cost of greenhouse tube heatern, as recommended by somewhere, somewhere else, on this forum (sorry forget your name). I introduced 4 diy'd 24w 6400k cfl's (120 w equivalent power), as the hps was at the top (bayonet fixings, lengths of two core cable, plugs and a seg. timer all cobbled together and then dropped in from the top of the tent), these spiral cfl things add some natural/ blue light into the mix, good for seedlings/ vegging (or so I've read). I have the cfl's about 12 inches above the seedlings, maybe I should raise them another foot?? Oh and I am running 20 hours on 4 off for lights (though I did start with 18/6 for abour 5 or 6 days). Are Cfl's ok at this height or should be further away? Sorry this post is turning into a long thing. The seedlings are 11 days old now, all 10 germed, 9 of the 10 less than 36 hours, one took a day longer ... and this one is struggling, one of the cotyledon pair never 'opened' and is now causing a problem for the next leaf pair emerging :-s Photos attached; #1 'late' germing Heavyweight Fruit Punch seed, #2 Heat damage ?? on cotyledon of another Fruit Punch seedling. #3 Heat damage ?? on leaf tip of a Strain Hunters MM seedling. ... any thoughts, advice, on anything I've mentioned above and indeed general curiosity would be all appreciated ;-) Herbally Yours, Jerry Sariel al-Rahim
  21. My first grow in an English cellar so not ideal conditions. This is a grow of medical cannabis for oil for my son - a philosopher and musician who enjoys the side effects - but more importantly, maybe the only real hope we have for the cancer in his brain. And I've found these in the grow. Can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them safely without damaging the flowers? Hardly any room to manoeuvre down there so hoping an organic spray that's ok to use with the lights on that I can get in the UK? I'd really appreciate any advice.
  22. I'll start off by saying hello, I appreciate your time in advance and I can fully understand that you've no doubt heard this time after time after time but I assure you I've tried a lot and I still cannot seem to bring down the temperature (Beginner). My suspicions are that the tent is too small, the HPS light is too much for the size and maybe the extractor vent isn't doing the best it could. I'll let you decide. The tent is W90cm D50cm H155cm. It is layered with a reflective film and has two fans inside. The fan is 9" which is directed purely at the 600W HPS Duel Spectrum Bulb which gives off a ridiculous amount of heat I look like a science professor off Breaking Bad sweating my tits off. The second fan is a 4" fan which is directed at the plant itself (which looks to make no difference there or not by the thermometer). At the top there is a 3.5" extractor vent pulling the heat out of the tent via the bottom. Vent is situated at the top. Pictures shown. There is an intake fan that pulls air from the outside inwards via the bottom left of the tent. The Plant itself sits in Miracle Gro (yes I know, but I know of good results) which gives the nutrients. The plant is watered once a day with 1.5 litres of 5.9ph water. Humidity is not monitored at present. The room that it is in is 233cm by 250cm (2.3m by 2.5m). The temperature in the tent stays between 29 and 31 C (84 - 88 F) and it just will not go lower! The window is left open constantly. History: A little bit about what's happened. 6 seeds, germinated perfectly 100%, made rookie mistakes and overwatered; caused them to become droopy. Made another rookie mistake and stretched them too much; they was on the windowsil for 4 days, and the airing cupboard for 3 days before the small 30W light I was using must've been too much added with the heat that killed them all a part from 2 that I managed to save through Intense and long hours of reviving. This was originally meant to be a hydroponic go but as you can tell, I am better off starting at easy which is soil. I transferred them from rockwool to soil and they've grown a lot better. Within days they grew well. I then didn't water them for a week while they were situated on the windowsil. I then transferred them to the tent to which I followed the advice of hundreds online and put the HPS light 15" above the plant which was a ridiculous idea to me and proved to be wrong as the one plant burnt within 20 minutes!!! I put the light up to 25" above the plant and it seems to be fine the passed 24 hours. The 1 plant I watered and left on the windowsil to heal and I hope this will be okay to go back to the tent on recovery. My questions are as followed: Would you disagree with any of the above? Will my plant that been burnt survive? How do I bring down the temperature, it's roasting? Would you advise anything? Pictures are shown. Thanks a lot everyone I really do appreciate the help.

  24. Hya folks, Very happy to have been directed to this site by my hubby. What an amazing amount of good stuff happening here, Danzig, and the folks helping you achive these remissions; you rock. 2013 has been a total challenge for us. Hubby was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January and told it was incurable, he was given a targeted therapy, a pill a day, which has held his tumours steady, but wont reduce them and wont work for long. He has already beaten the odds as he was told to expect months at best. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in October and since then have had my tumours removed. (I have been advised to take chemo for 6 months, Radiotherapy for 5 weeks and Tamoxifen for up to 10 years - I am not going for these options) Where do we go from here... well, we have already changed our diets massively by juicing, alkalising and oxegenating our bodies at every turn. We have researched thoughout the year and have realised that a life time love of weed has a deeper, much deeper healing aspect, in RSO. We managed to get hold of enough bud to make 10 grams of oil and have been both taking a maintanance dose, this is about to run out. We have made plans with gardening pals to grow more and we ourselves are doing the same. This will take several months to come to fruition. The difficulty is always going to be getting enough of what we need. No one we know can manage the quantities and we can only grow so much oursleves. One of my questions for the community here is: Is it better to hold out for weed we know is CBD heavy and grown with more love than chemicals, or should we just bite the bullet and buy the 32 oz we need for the first 2 treatments, never mind it's journey to our door? I am feeling quite panicked about how to proceed short term. I'm supposed to begin Radiotherapy in February. (I have ditched the chemo and Tamoxifen, and hope to avoid the radiotherpay too). Scared about waiting several months to begin treatments as hubbys medicine could fail any time, and I want and need to be fit and well to help him. Any advice very welcome. We are in the Scottish central belt and are fully committed to saving our own lives, rather than being in the hands of the Oncologists. We are both in our 40's and are musicians. All the best. XX
  25. I've got two under a 600 watt now, just out of interest any maybe for a future grow? How many plants could you grow under a 1000 watter. Do you get a lot more bud from growing under a more powerfull light?
