      @number6 I took a picture of a spider with pistil-coloured legs for the wildlife on weed thread just now and noted that the very early female flowers one gets at the nodes well before flowering starts were visible above the fly - like the ones you were worrying might be male a few days ago but not yet as pale and dried out as yours, and the pistils are still visible.  Here they are:

      be interesting to see if it does get better with age; i find the mum best smoked as soon as dry, losing the sweet cherry  but gaining a kind of aniseed as she cures....?   great job dude, looks like you found a winner for sure
