Out of darkness, light shines forth! :yahoo:

lol
No, seriously .... PFNC Labs have had a bit of a disaster, in that the last run of cuts I took are on the brink of failure, or of taking an inordinate amount of time to root. This is bad news for the rolling yield of my two WarDrobes. I really could use them being ready for their intermediate pots now, not still lurking in plaggy bags waiting to root! WarDrobe 2 went 12/12 two days ago, so WarDrobe 1 should normally be ready to go 12/12 in 4 or 5 weeks time. What to do? Never before has my Blues mother let me down like this, I'm all in a dither.

Then it hit me, hard, like a brick on the chin. I have five feminised "Dark Delight" just waiting for some water and compost. A quick count, and yes, I could squeak in a four or five week period for germination and vegging. They should do fine, they'll mainly be in a Flowering WarDrobe, which will allow them to luxuriate under 250 watts of MH, and that should go to them being pretty much ready for 12/12 when it comes, in 5 weeks or thereabouts.

So, my fellow Ganja-grubbers, another Diary to add to my seemingly endless list. More for me to update .... more for you to browse! Never mind, roll up, roll up one and all. There's coffee a plenty, and jars are full of either C3 or Blues, or Sunshine Daydream, or Smelly! Yay! :yahoo:

Lock 'n' Load, ladies, and Let's Normalise this land! :badass:

Good luck again Arnold.
I've been having awful cuttings problems as well recently.....I'm putting it down to the erratic and low temperatures we've been having of late. Hopefully this little bit of warmth will spur yours in to action.

Have a good un :)

Nice, will be good to see what these seeds develop into. Its handy to have a pack of fems incase of emergency I suppose.

Any idea why the clones did not root? Do anything different?

Have to agree with FAI there, I had two plants with two cuttings of each and neither rooted. First time in years its happened to me. Cloning is probably my weakest area, but the new heated propagator should sort things out, and the scalpel too!

Isn't it just! I'd never considered them from that PoV, but its certainly a fact ~ no matter how much one has philosophical/ethical objections to "Feminised seeds", none the less, they are very useful when your cuts fail

Nope, and nope again. Cloning is something I have not had problems with, till now. Up until, I have always had my MO well and truly dialled in. My schedule depends on a regular flow of cuts and I had got the whole process down pat.... until this lot!

I'm thinking temperature, as the offending issue. Stems are mildly purpled, which usually indicates a temperature problem IME. Time to get a thermometer in there and look into heating the Nursery cabinet.

lol This is my first failure in terms of clones, in a long long time. Its quite unnerved me, it has! :spliff:

But anyhoweversomehow, it has given me the chance to get these Dark Delights going. The write up is most enticing. I sure hope they live up to their blurbage!

Onwards, and upwards!

My current backup fems are poor I think.

Ceres Seeds Northern Lights x Skunk
Ceres Seeds White Indica
John Sinclair Seeds Sativa Trans Love
Dinafem White Widow
Dinafem Original Amnesia

Maybe I should treat myself to a pack of fem Cheese seeds...

Shame about the cuts, but as you have said, onward and upwards!

Indiddly, KBR, indiddly!

Whilst I have no love for the Feminised scene, I am now going to keep a few bags of femmed seed around, for those very rare situations like this. This is one reason I can accept for using them. I may even go so far as to use Fems as a "Strain test", if I like a strain in femmed format, then I could go buy the regular seeds, assuming they exist, of course! That would speed the whole thing up muchly, no?

I'm going to have a peek at them in a little while, see if they've shown their sleepy little heads yet lol

I have no love for fems, but they would speed up the testing process.

Have you seen the time lapse video of seeds germinating?

Morning peeps, thanks for taking time to read this one. All comments welcome, personal abuse aside :D
Well now then.....

This morning I opened my Nursery doors, and what did I see? Yep, that's right .... four little tiny plants, all sleep-headed and full of promise :yahoo:

Seems there's nowt wrong with the viability of your seeds, Dutch Passions type peeps. So far 100% germination with the two strains I'm growing right now :yep: I suspect the last one to show, which is the little single seed shot above, may need a smidgin of help to "get out of bed". I've given her a good spraying with tepid water, and will approach her later for to ease her out of her shell; after a hot bath and some more coffee, when my hands are not shaking like leaves in the Autumn breeze.

I keep re-reading the blurb for this strain. Just hoping she lives up to it, and that its not mere hype. Because she reads like a real old throw back, just the sort of thing i am looking for in so many ways :yep:

Greetings Sir. I am able to say that these will keep relatively short. Mine are about to be immersed into a 12/12 schedule next week and are quite stocky little fuckers. I have had to have the drains swept and the vicar is still upset so my update will be tomorrow. IF the BLURB is correct then these do sound delightful indeed. We'll see if advertising mannerisms are entwined in Dutch Passion or if there are some who rise above the considered stodge.

Have a good one Sir.

Cheers :smokin:

Update and photos. They are now under 250 of MH lighting, and loving it. really close internodes, and substantial branching starting to develop. Now at nodes 4/5.
