Seems I’m over watering Just 1 plant

25 posts in this topic

I’m currently growing 7 dinafem Critical+ plants that are in Flowering stage (just)

they are in 11l fabric pots

just compost, I forgot to add perlite......

seems the same plant has drooping leaves the day after I water....

anything i can do now to the compost or too late?

I had a container catching any run off so I’ve removed the fabric pot from that in case it’s holding too much water.

I wouldn’t say I’m over watering tho....but obviously I am

took pictures but bloody blurry, will get more now

I'd just water it the day after if its not quite as dry as the others come watering time. Some plants are just more thirsty than others, even with the same rootmass.

It seems to be as dry as the others it just seems to not handle the water very well ? @Amnesia

They vegged for around 5/6 weeks, being potted up twice. (The final 11l is it’s 3rd pot)

i know @Green demon I should really write dates down but I even forget to do that. Memory was useless on morphine, add these drops and I’m lucky I make it to bed at night.

Yes mate I water them till there’s a little puddle in the tray and let that stay in there?

That could well be where you're going wrong, some plants don't mind so much and the thirsty ones just suck it right up anyway. Others hate wet feet and have issues.

OK mate sounds like a little longer veg was what was needed. Guessing the one plant hasn't got as good a root system so after a heavy water/feed it's effecting the leaves. not much you can do in flower

if the puddle is small then it should evaporate away quick, if it's big then the compost will just be wicking it up making the issue worse like amnesia says

And use a sponge to lift the run off!

I've usually got 18 on the go and the bitches rarely all want to drink at the same time, if ever.  That's a small bonus I've found from coco on my first run with it, you can say fuck it and just water the lot.

Yeah @FatBoy77 massive advantage of coco is drippers dtw. Although Blumats for soil seem like a no brainier once I can work out what type of kit I need.
