Wilma systems

Hi,

I've got a 4 pot Wilma system on the way to use in a small space (1m x 1m 1.5m(h)) with a 250w hps/mh. Plannong to Scrog Pure Ak. I have never tried hydro before. Done a soil grow a long time ago. Any hints, tips, thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Cheers.

What you going with clay balls or coco mate? I have used it in the past with coco. You may want to modify the wilma so you can drain it if you plan on doing a scog. You need to take the plant off the system and imagine it will be impossible if you got the plant running through a scrog net.

Clay balls unless there is a reason not to. When do you need to take the plant off the system, must have missed that bit?

I refill through the red cap bit.....using another pump to empty the old feed out, through the same red capped hole. No need to move plants off.

Get a EC meter (bluelab are good) and watch out for increased EC from week 5 onwards

preferably use a clone so they all the same hight and feed the same
