Hi chums, the Jack 47 Auto has got her roots down to the bottom of my 11 litre pot, almost as satisfiying as germinating.

Not the reason am, posting picture though.

When I bought these pots I didnt realise there was 1 inch slots at the bottom, having to find some material to stop my grow medium pouring out of holes I considered just useing my normal round pots. Anyway I used some netting and that was that.

These holes have become an ideal way to check moisture levels at bottom of pot, no lifting of pot or probing, just press on the material and check.

The tray can be bone dry but the medium still ideal.

Simples.

UDATE

During this grow, during flowering periods, I will be experimenting with giving my plants Black Treacle which has been pre-diluted 2-1 with water and will be given at the rate of 15ml per litre of nutrient, equivelent to 5ml Black Treacle to 1 litre. This will be done 1 feed a week.

I will also been experimenting with the PH values, I will not go into this now but will put findings in Summary after first plant cropped.

With its open structure the side stems are doing well.

Cheers Senzi, she is a lovely plant, she looks different than anything I have grown before, she is mostly Sativa.

Now she has filled the pot she is growing faster, I have only grown 8 weekers before so I do not know when to expect to see white hairs and when to train her. All a bit later than normal I should imagine,

Cheers for passing by chum,

Grow Chum.

Hi Jaypp my Spanish chum.

Chum is old English word used for a good friend, also food.

It comes from WW1, the chums who died together going over the top of the trenches.

They were friends who died together.

They were food for the machine guns.

They were chum for the machine guns.

They were chums.

I like the structure of the plant, it looks like she will be easy to grow and train, a plant to grow and grow again.

Wow!! Thanks for this great explanation.

I'm glad to know a little bit more about your language and the history of your country.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm happy to be called your Spanish chum!

She looks perfect, by the way :hi:

Cheers micro, she is coming on good, I will post another picture tommorrow @21 days, no heavy pruning this time, light pruning when I start the LST, next week @25 days I will see if I can bend the top over how I want to.

She is the nicest looking plant I have grown, she just seems different, with a little lemon smell coming off her.

LST Plan,

this will be applied in the next few days, I just need the stems to grow a bit more.

The side stems will be pulled and tied down first, then the main stem.
