  1. I’m doing my first tea soon. for my seedlings I’ve got a simple recipe of worm castings and black strap mollasus which I’m going for but... later when they get a bit bigger I plan to make a slightly more complex one which contains Peruvian seabird guano aswell as Mexican bat guano. My question is there good and bad brands of castings/guano and what does everyone else use ? thanks UK420 community CFCropper
  2. So was looking into some Batmix's and I will probably go with some H & G Bat Special But this had me wondering.. Where does the expression come from ? I know a quick google search could of answered this but it's more fun to interact with the community! Any funny stories or ideas where this expression came from ? How crazy on a scale to 10 is Batshit Crazy?!
  3. Welcome to my new diary ! I shall be trying out a long slow grow with organic ingredients. All my Sweet Seeds ladies are clones from my competition run, I have just popped 5 Ugorg Blues and they are also in the tent but I shall not be concentrating on them in this diary, they will be in the background The soil I have to hand is clover, I'm not sure this is 100% organic but thats what they have all started in for the moment. I am getting a couple of bags of biobizz all mix for the next potting up in a week or two. I am mixing in Guanokalong powdered batpoo, a bit of volcanic rock dust, some additional Mycorrhizal Fungi, a generous serving of ecothrive charge, and finally some additional plagron worm humus. For additional fertilisers I shall be using Canna Rhizotonic (yup it's organic), BioBizz Fish Mix and Biobizz Bloom. I dont think there will be a need for grow, we will see. There are two Jack47's which came from a very healthy branch and big sticks of bud making mother, the mother was small but did really well so I am in the process of lots of LST and topping. They both have about 16-20 main branches on the grow - I intend to have to Jack47 trees, they may get topped once more yet. The plants are enjoying being manipulated, they are thriving as you will see below. The Sweet Cheese and Sweet Skunk clones I have one of each, they are survivors from their wicks not sucking up water whilst I was away on vacation. They will catch up with the jacks, but for now they just have 4 -6 growing tops happening. There are 5 x Urgorg Blues babies I have just moved into the tent also. If I can get the work done on my new shed everything will be transferred to there giving me much more space to grow. Thats the plan ! Heres a couple of pictures for now A closer look at Jack47
  4. Hy, I want to make my own organics soil mix. For example this: "LC's Soiless Mix #2: 6 parts Pro Mix BX or HP / Sunshine Mix (any flavor from #1 up) / Fox Farm Ocean Forest or Light Warrior 2 parts perlite 2 parts earthworm castings Powdered (NOT PELLETED) dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix. If you use a 3 qt. saucepan as “parts” in the amounts given above, it equals about 1 cu. ft. of soiless mix and you can just dump in a cup of powdered dolomite lime. The dolomite lime is for Ca. and Mg. not just to adjust the PH of the soil." As I see the components of the soil I will use BioBizz Light-mix, because the other soils availability in my area is hard. Than I want to put some guano in my soil and give weekly a tea. I found a recipe also: "RECIPE #2 If you want to use guano in your soil mix... Bongaloid's Guano Mix. Use all these items combined with one gallon of soil mix. 1/3C hi N Guano Mexican Bat Guano or Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG) 1/2C hi P Guano (Jamaican or Indonesian Bat Guano) 1TBS Kelp Meal" My questions: 1. Do I need the extra dolomite lime (I can buy a product, called Dolomita, 36% Ca, 20% Mg). It is in Biobizz light mix too. Do i need due the guano high PH? 2. I can buy just Guanokalong bat guano. NPK: 1-15-1 + Ca + Mg 1/2 cup to a gallon soil isn't a bit too much? 3. What can I add instead of the high N guano? Because i can't order this. I can order for example Guanokalong Fish Powder 4-5-1 or alfalfa powder. 4. For kelp meal i can order this 1-0-2. Or Guanokalong seaweed 0,5-2-0. But probably not the same as in the recipie. 5. What about K? I bring it from the molasses? Or can i use something else? Guanokalong Palm Tree Ashes 0-3-14 but this act as dolomit lime as i see Algae extract 0,5-3-19 6. I live in a hard tap water area. My EC is 0,7, ~350 ppm, PH is 7,8. So i need a soil mix, that i can water with RO water, or atleast 50-50 tap-RO. Can you help me, please?
