Big thanks to @panik for the free seeds very kind & generous of you.

Out of the 6 seeds 5 sprouted. Seeds were put straight into plagron light mix & I've used Pete pots.

4 seeds were up in 4 days & the 5th seed popped up on 6th day.

Seeds are under 2 t5 nano lights at the moment.

I'll be planting out by end of month that's the plan anyway.

I'll be growing solo this year as my mate is self-employed and he's flat out so got no spair time.

I'll be growing at same grow sights as last year.

Site 2 is exactly the same as as last year so I've amended the 10 holes there holes have been turned everyweek since start of February & towards the end of march I added to each hole bone meal, fishbone & blood, worm castings, chicken mature pellets & perlite. I've cut everything flat as possible at site 2 & just left the ferns & gore bushes at top of the banking for cover.

I've cut in a path through about 100 - 150 meters of thick woody brambles so now I don't have to walk through 2 farmers fields to get between site 1 & 2 so both sites are linked up also found a stream while cutting through the brambles so water is sorted for this year. large.Resize_20240505_204238_8738.jpg.70c62a141185021407d1753fdfba3ea6.jpg

This will make life a lot easier.

At site 1 I've flattened all the brambles & old ferns from last season. Where I had rows of 5 plants last year I've gone for rows of 3 this year so plants have got a lot of space between each other I've recycled the soil from last year plus I've carried 4 bags of 50ltr compost & 75 ltr coco block up to site 1 & all holes at site 1 have had the same fertilisers as site 2 & added at the same time as site 2.

Holes at site 1 (10 holes at site 1) are around 50 ltrs each

Also added mole hill soil from the farmers field to the holes at site 1.

So  I'll be putting 20 plants out including the five mighty gold.

I've also got 6 autos to go out.

Good luck to every one, hope you all have a good season & stay safe.

Nice one!

That pipe is an old land drain that's leaking upstream and the water is following the pipe run which makes it look like a stream... Possibly.

Anyway... you won't go far wrong with the MG... ticks ALL the boxes.

Pipe starts at the bog area then runs all the way to bottom of forestry

Just see bits of the pipe further u follow the stream.

Mighty golds are flying along I put one out this morning with 5 other strains. Needed the room for the auto's in my mini tent. All plants that have gone out this morning were watered in then I've spread some slug pellets around the plants. Also have chicken wire cages around the plants for protection.

Fairplay everybodys  hard work is paying off, all your diary's are looking Tip-Top.

Planted out the rest of the mighty gold out this morning. So all 5 are outdoors now.

Half expected cuple of plants to be missing or not looking good that I put out last Sunday but all the plants were still there & grown slightly.

I've now got 2 mighty golds at site 2 & 3 mighty golds at site 1 they all had some Mycorrhizal Fungi Powder added b4 they were put in the ground. Only give them a light watering as we've got heavy rain forecast for today & have had this afternoon. Plants all got chicken wire around them & slug pellets.

Ferns have flown up since last sunday

So next week I'll be cutting a lot of vegetation down at both sites to keep them open & putting bamboos in each hole ready for support. So far everything is going to plan. Won't be going up to plots till next weekend & hopefully I'll be planting 7 plants out if they ready at site 1.
