@Smokebelch indeed but when I don't drink tap water I don't see why I'd feed it to my plants regardless if experienced growers say otherwise.. especially since the rise of no till living soil as standard tap water without leaving to sit kills all the beneficial microbes, bacteria and organisms so it's safe to say not all experienced growers or no till growers would do so as it would effect the soil life dramatically as the food source would be diminished by tap water... but feel free to keep using tap water... I'm trying to cure my illnesses and giving up tap water was a big part of that and thats the care I give to my plants! I stand at a spring and fill glass bottles which takes a considerable amount of time but I appreciate the graft for the taste of the water lol... but yeah everyone to there own... although we never used to drink sterilized water so why now in the 21st century should we? Isn't water as essential to think about as what food you consume sort of thing, just like what we feed our soil as opposed to feeding plants which I don't do but yeah I generally consume a organic diet which is hindered by my disabilities but still I've had to change to be green for my health and water and food are the biggest factor for me along with breathing in fresh forest air

@GB12345It really is no hassle using water straight out of the tap, I have been growing for many years and tried all the mineral water, rain water, leaving tap water to stand overnight etc etc, none of that made any difference to the health of my plants so I just use it as it comes out of the tap as do many of the other experienced grower in here.
