Wilma 200litre res pump?

As tittle says, I've been using Air stones. Currently using 3 but they arnt really doing alot.

Id like to upgrade to something like a pump which will create enough push to keep the nutes fresh and everything moving.

I looked at a couple but I think they was more for 50 litre fish tanks.

Point in the right direction please?

Aquatic shops will have a pump or circulation pump or even better a power head  for that size of res.

Maxijet 1000 pump would do it, no problem.

Id put it on a timer.

@Leafneck What you looking to do, add a second pump to mix up the nutrients in the res or beef up the main pump that feeds the system?

Is your wilma on a drip or free flowing through pipe?

I'm looking for a pump to move the nutes around the 200 litre res, the air stones didn't really do alot.

I have a spare maxijet1000, shall I pop 2 air stones in my res and the maxi jet to come on 15 minutes every /2 hour? @badbillybob

I wouldn't bother with the airstones , just stick the pump on 15 mins every 2 hours,

its just to circulate everything, isn't it?

I would advise not using airstones in a res that dont contain nutrients, as @badbillybob. just said.

Airstones in a res are to feed extra oxygen into your water when your growing in DWC or RDWC, adding them to a large tank of water will just mess about with your PH and EC levels.

Just position your maxijet in the res in such a way you get a circulation going and that should work wonders. It should be all you need in the Wilma.

You could set the pump (circulating) to come on ten minutes before the dripper pump so there is some overlap.

Sicce Voyager Nano is designed for circulating nutes, I might get one too :D

I use a 'Newa Wave 3.9 circulation powerhead' rated at 3100 L / per hour.

Couple of photos below showing set up and then mixing / flooming:
