The box could do with a fan in it as the box gets really warm when the light is on.

What about a small pc fan mate? Easy to install and can be battery ran ;)

Cool little grow box to start the babies off ;)

All the best

Mark...

Right then ! Plot time.  I decided to find a new plot for this years autos .Plot A is being used for another diary and Plot B will be brought out of retirement for yes! Another diary / backup plot [If shit goes wrong]

So let me introduce Plot C.

Plot C is hosted on a large stretch of south facing waste land. This shot was taken back In November upon her discovery. This space requires a lot of work before plant out.

My plan was to sneak into the new plot when ever i had the time and just clear a small patch of brush each time so by a few visits in i’d would have cleared a substantial space. I choose to start work straight away because of logistics and i had nothing better to do.

So i found a small area which was easier to clear

I snipped a path round the edge of the space, this would give me an idea of the space i'd be working with.

Plot clearing is tedious work

I considered using a strimmer to clear this space but i didn't want to attract any attention to my work.

So the process has been quite simple , chop down , pile up and then clear . And hear we are !

Nice little space that gets a decent amount of sun in the summer.

So here she is.  Stage 1 was complete and the space is now ready to prepare the soil. I decided to keep it simple and add a layer of chicken shit and fish , blood and bone and allow the rain to break down abit before i turned the soil over in March /April.

This is a fab guide in how to prepare a plot.  I have the coldframe behind my greenhouse but I fancied some away from the house but I'm finding some of my places are so obscure carrying a fork there would be tricky.   I'm seeing watching you it's not as easy as banging a seedling into the ground and it is better prepared.   What's your next step?

Derrrrr. Okay its simple. Just need to turf the soil over and add some camo netting to a few spots in around the edges of the plot.
