Good news for birds/hedgehogs/bettles.

But got a year to stock up.
I stopped using them, saucers of stale beer does the job... :cheers:

About time too. Seriously there is no need for that toxic shite. Ferrous phosphate (iron) ones work as well if not better but even petroleum jelly mixed with coarse salt on cans / bottles cloches defend plants extremely well if set up correctly. Good riddance I say

I don't think frogs actually eat slugs, they much prefer worms. Hedgehogs definitely don't eat them.

A border of sand or lime might do though lime would be a bit conspicuous. Yeast extract smeared round the rim of a container of water is another one, it's the vitamin b they are after for the slime.
