Advice on setting up 28 pot dripper

18 posts in this topic

Hi I'm wanting to install a dripper system into my setup as hand watering 28 coco pots is a bit of a chore

Basically looking for advice on what pumps, drippers etc are good ,and what not to use.

Any advice or tips etc would be very much appreciated.

I understand the basic concept just unsure what will work for my setup.

The reason you won't get much help mate is because we are here to grow our own percy so a 28 pot system hardly puts that ethos across

What's the magic number of pots ?

I'm sorry if I've upset anyone but this crop is purely personal !

Just looking for some sound advice to help me setup a nice dripper system for my groom cheers

If you're illustrious enough to grow twenty eight plants you should be savvy enough to figure out how to water them.

Go figure. Unless you're growing for meds that's beyond the scale for a pecry grow.

However to answer your question, saturate a half pound lemon drizzle cake with nutrient solution and place on top of each pot. No need to p/h adjust the solution as a good lemon drizzle will buffer the p/h. The nute solution will be gravity fed via capillary action to your medium. Don't call me a cunt.

It's only five minutes till Sunday.

You can do it then....

@@Phoenix however witty your reply may be it doesn't address my questions. Are you drunk ?

Thanks for the negativity, you have been so helpful

28 plants isn't really a lot why so much hate ?

I'm only looking for people with experience with drippers and not police officers. lol

Peace

Because your question makes me wonder if your ego might get caught in the manifold required to drip feed twenty eight plants..

Why do you feel the need to include such high plant numbers in your post..

It's not like it's nine flowering, four mothers and a load of clones?!

Fair play though if you got serious medical needs or only six inches of headroom...

No hard feelings I just respect the general ethos and rules of the site...

Nothing "personal" 'bout that.

@@Phoenix I think you may have have misread my post friend

Really just looking for info

28 plants is not a high number of plants, maybe for some who only grow one or two at a time yes , but we all have different setups, grow styles, schedules and definition of what constitutes personal

I don't want to argue about it but you can easily fit 28 plants into a 1.2m x 2.4m tent , which a lot of people on here use with none of the above shit

Peace

In hindsight I apologise.

It's a fair comment.

How much you wanna feed each pot? Does it vary? 28 pots will need a good pump. And 28 isn't that many dudes lol. Could be vegging 28 to pick the best 9 females.

I have got a 70l bucket but have been looking at the flexi tanks and you can get a range of sizes

Up to 750l but I'll be ok with 100-150l

Thanks
