The death threats against loris’s family and kids are beyond disgusting, hope the police put these scumbags in court and Liverpool F.C. ban them, there not fans.

I think desperate websites and shit rag newspapers build these sorts of stories up. There may have been one or two idiots who sent him Tweets or whatever, but they cover the story as if his life is in danger. They did the same with Beckham when he got sent off in the World Cup, they drove up to some clowns house and took a picture of the effigy hanging from a rope, as if it signifies anything more than a fucking simpleton with nothing better to do with their lives than construct really bad, life size models of footballers and hand them from a rope.

Wasn’t 1 or 2, was a whole stream of people 1 after another telling him to die, hope your family die etc etc. surely the team as the employer has a duty of care over things like this??

Their duty of care will extend to training the players in how to deal with abuse, either in person, or on social media. There's not much can be done to prevent it really. They are idle threats from keyboard warriors, very unpleasant, but his life isn't in danger.

It has to be the biggest catastrophe of goalkeeping I've every seen, and it was on the biggest club stage of them all. What the fuck was he doing? I realise that Liverpool play quick football and like to break quickly, so he is conditioned to move the ball out quickly, but to do so without checking who's near him is just a schoolboy error. The 3rd goal, I don't think there was all that much movement on the ball, he should be stopping those all day long. Not much could have been done about the overheard kick. Liverpool were fucked when Salah went, Firmino went too deep after Salah went off.

I didn't have the worst of journeys back. There's some poor sods that are still sat in airports & on coaches. But one thing you realise when you follow the reds, it's sometimes all about the journey. I had a 3 hour delay in Tel aviv on the way back which hurt after losing. Still gutted. Sat in the Madrid end & sang full voice for 90 minutes & pissed off all the shitty Madrid fans around me.

Kiev was a beautiful city. Loved the food. Girls were gorgeous. Just wish we brought that trophy back.

In the words of led zeppelin.. then as it was, then again it will be, & though the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea

7 wins, in 1st 7 games of the season never been done by us before.. So another little milestone this Sat’ fingers crossed.. If we can get that front 3 clicking again we’ll be hard to beat.. I still honestly believe we’re only firing at 75% at best at the minute.. So much more to come... Get Salah back on blob, Keita and Fabinho fully settled and steer clear of injuries.., And Klopp’s ya uncle.. We’ll be there or there abouts anyway.. I’d be happy with Champ’s league qual’ again personally.. But know we’re capable of much more. It’s great being a Red at the moment though.. Thoroughly enjoying watching us play!

Its the best Liverpool have looked for a long time. I'm no football expert, they look a fucking good outfit to me, Klopp & Co seemed to have assembled a brilliant squad and its settling. I can't believe how good they are, and it doesn't look like a flash in the pan either. I fucking love Klopp, he is impossible not to like.

great grandson has been going the match quite often over the last 3 years with his dad, he was 7 last week he has 2 shirts one off Henderson one from Gomez, his dad had tickets for some visitors lounge today, he got a selfie with firmino and matip, I don't think he realises what a lucky boy he is.

So he went to the match quite often over the last 3 years with his dad, and he was 7 last week. He's a lucky boy, being taken to the matches since he was 4. Even luckier to get all those shirts, among all the thousands of people at every game. Selfie with Firmino and Matip

Fuck off Grandad, you're as bad at telling lies as you were last time you got banned.

I'm feeling conflicted now.

We're top of the table. If we stand any chance of competing with City for the title (not saying we're in with a chance at the title, I don't do optimism lol and also Chelski look ominously good this season, so the title race may actually between City and Chelski) then we need them to lose points. Manchester derby today...

I hate Man U (to be honest I'm kinda ambivalent about Everton, I'm not from Liverpool, grew up a Liverpool fan in Chester cos my Grandad - who was from Liverpool - was who I watched football on telly with when I was an ickle kid, he was a Liverpool fan so I was, and in my lifetime Everton have not really been our rivals, Man U have - I don't have that animosity to Everton that I perhaps would have if I'd grown up in the city, where the big split is if that makes sense). I also hate Mourinho. With a passion. Not just cos he's United manager but just cos I hate him lol I hate his negative football, yes it works (or has worked in the past) for him but I just hate that boring, negative, it's all about points attitude to the game. It's all about trophies - we won the league... Yes, but you won playing tedious, negative foorball, it's about more than just winning, it's a spectator sport, it's entertainment, fucking entertain me. I also hate his mardy-arsed arrogance, and the way that if they win it's because he's a great manager, if they lose he throws someone under the bus, winning is because he's great, losing is someone else's fault. Bloke's a twat. To be honest him becoming Untied manager was kinda the perfect hate storm for me lol The manager I hate most in the world managing the club I hate most in the world lol

But today I'm conflicted. We need City to drop points (and by the way, I'm a big fan on Pep :) cos his attitude to football is the kind I like - the anti-Mourinho as it were lol ). So does that mean I should want United to win the Manchester derby ?

Can I possibly want United to win ?

I dunno :headpain: When I watch the game and if I'm genuinely cheering Man U (so to speak - wanting them to win) I'll feel kinda dirty lol

lol Football conundrum lol
