Ultimate Blueberry* Micro Grow Setup 1x Auto Ultimate 1x Auto Blueberry 90hx60x60 Grow Tent (Limited Height) Vipar V300 LED Light 1x 4L Root Pouch 1x 3L AirPot Plagron Light Mix Plant Magic Old Timer Bloom AN Overdrive It's that wonderful time again, time to start a new diary. Thanks loads to Tony for the opportunity once again to be able to grow some top quality cannabis, so please sit back and enjoy this ride with me. Coming from my last grow, I changed a lot in terms of equipment - the biggest being the addition of the LED light. As I have limited height the high power lights just aren't suitable for me, but the LED has made a huge difference to my setup, so now i'm happy as i'm able to output great bud with little electricity or heat. For this grow I will be sticking to a similar set up as i’ve had great results so far. I really do like the soil - seems nice and light and I think it compliments the root pouches quite well. I have however raised my tent off the floor so I can get some intake added at the bottom - i’m hoping the fresh air pumping through will not only cool the inside of the tent but also give a boost to my ladies. But wait there's more.. Since finishing my last grow I had a birthday and to my surprise my friends got me 2 more packets of DP seeds, so i'm also running 1x Think Different 1x Auto Durban Poison 2x 4L Root Pouch I put 5 seeds into soak for 24hrs, then into paper towel for 24hrs and at that point all had tap roots ready to go, all potted and within 48hrs 4 of the 5 had popped there heads up, I was waiting for a second ABB as I wanted to do a side-by-side comparison between airpots and root pouch, but unfortunately she didn't make it, so i'm running 4 now - 3 in root pouch and 1 in airpot. So without further ado, let me introduce you to the ladies, born on 3rd July so today they are 3 days old.. Lets Go.. Auto Ultimate Auto Blueberry (in the airpot) Think Different Auto Durban Poison Cheers * Ultimate Blueberry is not a real strain

Hey all! I'm starting my second ever grow this year. This will probably turn into a grow diary as I get started, but for now I just had a few questions. OK, here's the situation. I'm in the Yorkshire area of the UK. I have a nice secluded bit of woodland to grow in and I've been scouting out good spots today. I have grown before, but it was in a greenhouse (WAY too much paranoia for me). As I'm poor I've only got three seeds (all fems) - a Dutch Passion No.1, a Frisian Dew and an auto "Short Stuff" Himalaya Blue Diesel in case everything goes tits up . I'm hoping this will be enough. Here are the problems I'm having with choosing the right spot: 1. WIND - My spot is at 54° latitude, on a hill. It's in pretty open valley, and a lot of the best spots get a lot of wind. How does our friend mary cope with blustery days? Would it be sufficient to build a little stick shelter while they're young? 2. Acidic soil - I haven't done a PH test yet, but my soil is very peaty, with pine trees dotted around. The water coming off the moors I suspect will also be quite acidic. Is it enough to mix some wood ash in with some general purpose soil or will the actual water run-off turn it into a primary school volcano experiment? 3. I have to admit I was a little confused about the affect of pine trees and why they are to be avoided. Is it because the actual needles change the PH, or it just because they grow on acidic soil? 4. I've been looking for stinging nettles as a sign of a good spot, and I have found a couple of patches but mostly it's just bracken, moss and ferns. Is any of these likely to be good spots? Once I work out how to attach pictures, I'll post a pic of my favourite plot, it faces roughly south, it already has a few stingers - I plan on planting more for extra cover, it's well sheltered from the wind and has a decent amount of light (according to google earth it has about 8-9 hours of direct sunlight at this time of year, and 11-12 in July). How DO I post pictures? Does it have to be through Photobucket or can I upload directly? Many thanks! FourHundredandTwenty
