Fragg
@growinggold Yeah I have a Cloud Evo that helped me, although I started vaping with a vape @Dinafem-Mark kindly sent me that he had spare at the time. That turned me onto vaping and that became crucial to giving up last time, I hate the idea of ruining the flavours with tobacco tbh. The missus already makes gummies although I prefer something with less sugar personally Best of luck with your CBD run, mine is just sticking out her 2nd set so always to go yet!
Fragg
Cookies Auto and Gorilla Auto Week 7 - Day 49 Update Evening folks..... damn it has been warm! The only good thing for my plants is they are loving the humidity, I thought I would be cooking my seedling Kush CBD when I saw her temps over 30 today but she was super perky and loving life thanks to the humidity keeping the Vapour Pressure Defecit in the right range I have 4 x 5l bottles of water in my freezer tonight in readiness for the battle with the temps tomorrow! I tell a lie there is another good thing about this weather...thunderstrom rain is the BEST water you can get, the lightning ionises the Nitrogen in the air and makes it plant available immediatley!! Grab some and see if you can! Up until today however the temps up here in the lakes have been reasonable this week and not getting above 28 in the tent, the Cookies was showing heat stress signs so I raised the light a notch on her side to 20" Feed wise I have got them on around 3ml/l Bloom now and the leaves have a lovely healthy sheen now I'm not overfeeding them too much I have added a nudge of 0.5ml/l extra Grow though when I felt they need more greening up, particularly the Gorilla. I will drop this I think totally from here on in and just try and get the right amount of Bloom into them, along with the 1ml/l Runzyme as recommended by IN. With that in mind and also to bring out the best organic flavours I top dressed with 2-3” of Earth Worm Castings which will water nicely in over the coming weeks The Gorilla as I mentioned in last weeks post is ahead of the game due to the extra time under the new Scope 275 XL from diyleduk and her buds are much fatter as a result. Below is a group shot of the pair of them under the Scope, the Gorilla is on the right... They fill the space under the Scope i.e. half a 1.2x1.2m tent perfectly, I really want another now I'm actually trying a seedling under the edge of the Scope this week for the first week of her life to see how she does in the preipheral but reasonably strong light. You can see her pot to the right of the image above. Now some more pics starting with the Cookies Cookies Overhead Cookies Side View Cookies Bud Shot Next up the Gorilla... Side View of the Gorilla - I forgot to get an overhead this week Bud Shot Final pic for tonight showing her frosting up nicely The two ladies have had a good week and recovered from the overfeeding from earlier, I did a water through to runoff this week, something I dont often do, as I prefer a lttle and often rather than mopping up mess I dont think wet/dry cycle helps a bacterial population, they need moisture and food and not to be dried out and I have no problems rooting out 20l airpots with autos without the use of a 'dry cycle to encourage roots to look for water'. So an occasional water to runoff to make sure the bottom roots are getting fed is my policy. They have another 4 weeks left to pack on the bud and now they seem happy on the nutes so I'm looking forward to the show! That's all on these two for this week, next I hope to bring you uptodate on the Moby and if I have time BAXXL too as she is STUNNING. Not to mention the star of the show in this diary the Kush CBD!!! I'm off to watch thunder storms whislt puffing on a supercharged spliff.... Til next time keep it green all Edited August 10, 2020 by Fragg Shit I forgot!

Exhale
Hi @Fragg I've found the same as you with regards to keeping the medium a bit more moist, especially with the Tropic Mix! I usually only irrigate with 30% of the pot volume which leaves none or very little run off. I was getting some leaf drop this grow which confirmed things as I was watering less initially in flower with the change to 12/12, not wanting the pots to be heavy, when I increased the irrigation amount they stopped dropping leaves and greened right up. It's safer to keep a moist pot with this stuff containing coco, seems to like that way of feeding too, I can't say there's any salt buildup on my rootballs or any bad smells and I use Biobizz! I would imagine you'd need run off with mineral feeds though.
Fragg
@Exhale yep that is what I’m finding, I really like the Tropic Mix though, much better than the Plant Magic Soil Supreme especially for seedlings which occasionally would burn a bit in the PM soil. It has meant I’m feeling my way with new medium, new nutes and a new light but it is a challenge and I’m always up for them Intense Nutrients are impressive too tbh, as long as I’m not over or under feeding the plants look really happy, more so than when I was using Biobizz or PM organic ranges for sure and Inwill be sticking with them as I get the schedule a bit more dialled in This is what I love about uk420 we all help each other to grow better ganja and we have some cool site sponsors atm with kick ass prodcuts!
Fragg
Moby Dick XXL Auto Day - Week 5 /Day 35 and Blue Amnesia XXL Auto Week3/Day 21 Updates Wow the thunderstroms were amazing last night here in the lakes, I collected 50l of thunderstorm rain and blazed a couple of spliffs each with my youngest son enjoying the light show It is super muggy this evening and feels like we are building up for another show tonight, hopefully by the time I crank out this update! My veggies in raised beds loved the rain and the plants in the tent seem unphased by the extreme temps thanks to the accompanying humidity...PHEW! First up tonight is the Moby Dick XXL that is now at the week 5 stage and properly flowering, I gave up on LST with her at the end of last week. She isnt quite how I'd like shape wise but I didnt put the time in with her due to being busy with work and all the staycationers. The idea is to have her more rectangular than the Cookies and Gorilla that I wanted spread nice and wide to make use of the Scope's superb coverage. My ChilLED Gen2v1 is the opposite, loads of diodes all crammed together giving a very powerful light and superb wide spectrum BUT the coverage just isnt as efficient this way, lots of light in the middle, not so much to the edges of the tent. I will be first putting the Moby under it this coming week to share with a Mephisto Gentics Deep Blue C that I've got about two weeks to go to chop with. Then I will put the BAXXL in her slot to share with the MDXXL, meaning I want them both rectangular more than square if poss. I also think I could be in for trouble with the BAXXL as she is showing signs going bloody big on me again I can see her hogging alot of the space It's all fun and games Feed wise having panicked slightly when she went into flower so early, with too much bloom last week, I changed it for a more 'normal' feed regime for this time in an autos life and added more Grow. It's not totally my fault! Dinafem say she is a hungry girl so I was straight in with the feed in an attempt to get as big a Dick as possible Needless to say she responded well to the extra N feed and greened up nicely which is what I was trying to achieve before she hits full flower. Intense Nutrients Feeds Day 29 - 2l 1ml/l Grow 0.5ml/l Bloom Day 31 - 2l 1.5ml/l Grow, 0.6ml/l Bloom, 1ml/l Run , ¼ tsp Epsom Day 33 - 2l 1.7ml/l Grow, 0.8ml/l Bloom, 0.8ml/l Run - Last strong N feed and I will taper it down from here on Day 34 - 4l 1ml/l Grow Bloom and Run ¼ tsp Epsom gave about 2/300ml runoff Time for tonight's pics after her big watering last night... Kicking off the overhead view - yeah not the best rectangle I ever created The Side on View A little bud porn A final bud shot for tonight Next up the supebly vigorous BAXXL . She had just one feed this week of 2l 0.3ml/l IN Grow and 0.9ml/l Bio Silicon on day 19 plus a foliar of Evolution of day 16 and she has just shot up here is her growth graph and some pics.... First pic tonight a side on View showing her lovely open structure and big internodal spaces Next up the over head view A bud site in development Another bud site She got bent over at the week 3 point here she is post op Final image for this evening an overview of her post LST I couldn’t be happier with her progress under the Dormgrow 240 beg light and in Tropic Mix and she gets an 11/10 for being the easiest LST job ever Thats all for tonight folks next in line for an update is the Dinamed Kush CBD at the day 7 point which is tomorrow No sign of thunderstorms but wish there was to clear the air a bit! Fragg
Dinamed Kush CBD Auto - Day 7/Week 1 update Evening all, I have been looking forward to this update for awhile now, not because it is the last of 3 updates for this week for me The fact that I have some strong CBD meds on the way and she is now a week old gives me a nice sense of mental security What a first week it was, she must have thought I live in Jamaica or something with this heat and humidity As a result the T5 I usually pop seedlings under I raised from its normal 10cm height to 20cm and increased the PC fan speed, that blows across the tubes, from 1 to 3. I misted when I could but work is super busy and frankly the humidity is around 60-65 anyway atm. I'm not sure it makes a difference to the plants but it helps me feel I have done something to chill them down a bit The news is she survived pretty damn well and is growing normally despite the extreme heat, I'm sweating typing this at 11.30pm it's unreal! Temps hit 32 and were mostly over 30 all week Deploying large frozen water bottles at strategic times of day certainly helped Here is her growth chart to date, again a day out so 8=7 Perfectly normal for an autos first week She had no waterings until this evening, when we had a proper flash flood of thunderstorm rain so I grabbed some and gave her about 800ml, to wet the top few inches again that have dried from evaporation. Here are a couple of pics from her at a week old... Firstly the over view - exhibiting chubby lil fat kush type leaves already! Here is a side on shot Really happy that she took this week in her stride and I will be able to ramp up the ol' lumens as the temps ease off in the next few days plus she will be wanting more too Another 10/10 start from Dinafem seeds autoflowering range, hats off to them That's me updated on all 5 Dinafem strains in my grow atm, my supply of top drawer meds for every occasion for the whole family looks ensured Til next week keep it green all Edited August 12, 2020 by Fragg

Fragg
Cookies Auto and Gorilla Auto Week 8 - Day 57 Update Evening folks! Wow what another sweltering week that was!! I've not experienced it so warm in this part of the world before and the humdity has been super high too. I've lost about 3 buds from my last harvest to budrot, she was a VERY fat budded indica dominant Mephisto Genetics 24 Carat, so I was fucked in these conditions Luckily most of the plant survived and I washed her in my usual fashion with diluted hydrogen peroxide to hopefully kill any lingering mould so the buds wont rot in the jars...fingers crossed but I will do my best to smoke them as fast as possible to be sure The Gorilla and the Cookies have battled on this week with the Cookies showing more signs of heat stress than the Gorilla, so I raised her side of the Scope 275 XL a little, her leaf tips are still upturned though but her leaves look healthy enough Here is shot of the two of them under the Scope, filling the space nicely The Gorilla has been packing on bud despite stuggling with the condtions and will hopefully contiunue to do so over the coming 3 weeks or so. Feed wise she has been on doses of 2l of 3ml/l IN Bloom and 1ml/l Runzyme and I added 0.5ml/l CalMag mid week too jic Here is a closer look a some of the buds and a missing hair from my beard A Gorilla Bud The Cookies is the bigger plant of the two but her bud development is not as advanced thanks to having less time under the Scope I think, perhaps she will take a bit more time?. Her leaves and pistils are healthier too despite the heat stress she is clearly suffering from. Feed wise she has also been on 3ml IN Bloom and 1ml Runzyme and I did try midweek to push her a bit harder with 3.2ml/l Bloom and a shot of 0.6ml/l Grow this was a bit much P for her so I backed off the Grow totally and back to 3ml/l Bloom, I might up it again I will see. I forgot to mention I think that at the end of last week I topped both plants with about 2 inches of worm castings, the medium compacts over time which is an issue with airpots leaking out the side. Also the microbes and nutrients getting washed into the soil with the each watering until harvest should help and at the same time allow the top roots to expand a bit. So a triple win win win I have upped how much I was gving the Cookies from 2l to 3l per day for the last 2 days as was lighter when I felt her pot and she seems to be liking it. Here is a side on view of her and the heat stress signs of upturned leaf tips and mild cupping A closer view of her buds An even closer view, she needs to pick up the pace trichome wise! I see that temps are due to drop to more normal and growable levels at the end of this week which will be a relief to me and many others I'm sure, hopefully it should be a steady 'coast them home' after that, it has been a stressful few weeks! That's all for this evening folks but tomorrow is update time for the Moby Dick and Blue Amnesia who, as I feared, has forced her her way into this diary by dint of her sheer size No rest for the wicked! Til next time stay frosty
