It’s all hash, we tend to stick to strains, totally avoid anything really hard and brown throughout, it just takes too long to breakdown and returns are usually really low, this is the kinda stuff we use: Call it what you like, it’s what we use, my supplier calls it pollen or polly, his supplier calls it hash, I always think of hash as hard arse bars of soap from my youth and if I asked my supplier for hash it’s what I would get. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

potato1356 Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 Hello all - time to introduce the new metamorphosis of the rig - she has reached (almost) her final form. I've now got a 300g 3" tube instead of the 140g 1.5" tube - what a bloody difference. packing and unpacking is 1000% easier and quicker now. Also bought a viewing window, an extra filtration plate, and a condensing coil. The viewing window is for the nitrogen push, the filter for cleeeeaaaannnn product, and the condensing coil for speed of recovery. This was setting up the system before I ran it - frozen everything and vacuuming out all lines and chambers. Here is the condensing coil in the ice speeding recovery - the coil is steeped in the ice alongside the gas chamber - once recovery is done I just put the coil in warm water. Pre-freezing my mine ready to fill! Some lovely lemon diesel live resin that I did this week - stinks of gassy lemon! This pic makes it look like there is lots of little bits of dust in the shatter - it's just stuck to the underneath side I had my last batch tested for THC levels.... It came out higher than all UK extractors we tested bar 1, and higher than any american extract! I'm pleased as punch, especially considering I've entered 2 cannabis cups next year - onwards and upwards! Here's the finished ken's kush honeycomb glass - got it tested as well - 66.5% thc, 6.2% CBD!!!! and the diamonds are cryo-ing! here's hoping for an easier time with this one.... 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes most people are drawn in by the safety aspect and cheaper setup costs My issues are - no live resin options for the press - no easy options to alter end product consistency (diamonds, sauce, caviar, honeycomb etc). Also the thc levels of most rosin is laughable compared to bho - a rosin presser got his extract tested with loads of us last week, and his rosin is seen as the best in the area by a long shot - All three of his extracts came out at 85%+ delta 9 thc - ouch.
