must be the seaweed then - assumed wrongly it was the epsom

cant remember for certain but Im sure I added the epsom to 1L of water, not  epsom topped up with water to 1L

It doesn't matter for our purposes.

rightyho I have some figures so were not pissing in the wind,

my tap water is EC=355

tap + 1ml epsom solution EC=560

tap + 2ml epsom solution EC=780

so my starting EC = 800ish before adding any feed or seaweed - doesnt leave much room as seedling EC=1,1.2 based on feed chart or am I getting this all wrong?

Your water is high but ok.  Fuck the chart off.  Start around 1.0 then 1.2, then 1.5

wont I will still have same problem, my corrected water EC =0.8 that leaves only 0.2 for feed.

I'll just stick to epsom spray while they are little and use that epsom 0.5=EC for food.

PS Im not spraying with 250g epsom mix - only a teaspoon in 1L for spray

As long as you don't start adding any 'magic potions' there's enough room for food and a bit of seaweed.

made up 1L feed - 1ml A+1ml B+tap water+epsom mix for a total EC=1250 no room for seaweed :crybaby:

reduced ph to 6 and ran 100ml through each, which gave a nice bit of runoff.

I measured the runoff and the EC=3600 and ph=6.2 - I wont take this as accurate as dish had coco and old salt in it, so I'll get a proper one in a day or so.

The TBL are looking good so far - should be ready for a pot up this week, checked a couple of days ago but aborted that as it wasnt fully rooted and all the coco started to fall out.

no feed tonight - will do it tomorrow with 100ml again

no3 variegation doesnt look that bad out of the tent (last pic)

Day 19 - potted up the TBL into 3L pots

I put the coco in the tent last night to warm through and gave the holes a good sprinkle in "mykos" again - seems to working as had good rootage but I will let you be the judge of that!

forgot to mention, I watered the plants the night before potting up, as it helps hold the medium together.

I put about 400ml of feed (EC=1.2 PH=6) in the new 3L pots before I got run off

I might have the start of a mg def, so will keep a close watch to see if it worsens

Potted up from 3L to 7L deep rose pots, these are all I had at hand before they go into the 12L buckets

The 7L deep pots are only a bit wider than the 3L but twice as high, so this time round I mixed the "mykos" into the coco rather than sprinkling on the surface,

Increased the ppfd by lowering the light so its approx 400

I went to water/feed tonight and the pots were still pretty heavy, so I gave it a miss tonight and will have a try again tomorrow

bumped the min temp up to 26'C as its gonna get cold next few days, plus growth seems a tad  slow, so an extra bit of warmth wont do any harm.

I might even leave them in the 7L if I they can fill out a bit

You’ll be able to grow a pretty good size plant in a 7l pot of coco,

but by the time it’s in mid flower it’ll require multiple fertigations per day  🫣

I’m assuming that you’re going to be flowering the 3 of them at the same time in the 120 x 60?

If you want to get away with feeding no more than once per day,

you’ll be best getting them into 12l a couple of weeks before you want to start flowering them.

Or the other option would be some kind of timed auto feeding system 🤖

The TBL I grew all responded well to multiple topping,

so don’t be afraid to pinch those growing tips out to make nice bushy girls 🤏
