Thats it bud, realgood to read this..

Na its not the wiring but all of the pipes and hoses that run my window and headlight washers.. fukers touch nothing else not a nibble of a box nothing mate just my fuking pride and joy.. so far ive took the wheel off plastic inlays under the front arches today access the wherethe res sits behind my bumper.. front bumper is now also off,oh and the engine under tray.. they have done all the supply hoses that link to the motors on the res..im pissed bro big time..its not my game cars but a few vids decent jack and propper socket set and will get through it in time.. its getting it all back together again lol don't want to damage her but don't trust many indy either.. that poor girl has already suffered at the hands of 1 specialist and we ended up in a big court case..another story but since then im scared to take her anywhere mate. Fuking 2 bottles of water was laying on the floor well 1 sprayer that i use to water the mums in there but not touched just my fuking car :wallbash:

@Revive   That aint good mate,  open pipework is an invitation to dirt & debris.    To be fair i find the mice the worst for attacking the looms , the rats tend to eat & gnaw on just about anything they can find.   I would be more than happy to happy to rectify her but im guessing geographical issues would arise , then transportation costs etc

I have a few very trusted guys around the UK if you need a trustworthy spanner.

I think finding the critters entry point to the garage & preventing further access would be key.    You could look to raise the car on stands as this could possibly restrict low down ingress but they are little ninja fuckers.

Feel for you mate and always happy to try assist .... even if its just a consoling cuddle :yep:

PS -  Get some part index cable ties and mark them at both end of the pipework !!!   just in case they go clean through as this will save hours trying to work out what go's where :B):

Stainless woven overbraid will prevent further further damage.       Smother everything in hot chilli oil !?   Poss help

Yes I've heard mice can be a real problem eating wiring looms but this is deffo rats..they done the same to the lady 2 lockups down from me.. seem to mainly be going for the water pipes..eventually they will fuking chew through everything down there.. im on it mate and as you say the first step was making the lockup rat proof.. ive used expanding foam around the gaps in the frame and ant holes in the walls..screwed a timber bar to the floor so they can't get under the door either now..traps set inside and a big bag of pissy cat litter left under the car..ive gone through everything stored in there to make sure I don't lock them in now all entries are blocked. Took me forever..now I worry the will slip in there if its left open so ive got to close it behind me everytime i go in there.. ive got my mum box in there and my dry tent so its making me look suspicious doing that..im doing it for the rats but folk may see it as something im hiding..I try to be casual when working down there like im just doing shit with my van and stock as i also store materials in there for my business.. its a fuking ache now..rather not be creeping around down there by touch light but needs must.

Yeah distance would be a prob but I really appreciate your offer.. tbh mate if you was around the corner I doubt I'd seek your help and only due to the fact that your not well and need to concentrate on yourself, thats more important right now than any car..

A good spanner is hard to find..the guys I used was top of there game, 40years in business and all over the m3 forums rated very highly.. I had a couple grands worth of work done by these guys including the guilbo ( donut) on the prop and that never tightened up the bolts..I never knew and drove back to london..24 hours later pulling away from the lights bang bang bang from underneath the bolts sheared and fuked loads of other stuff under the car that they tried to cover up when it went back to them on a transported 2 days later..lots more to the story but it went on for 3 years mate and got settled out of court in the end.. that money is still in the car account and now im terrified to take it anywhere.. these guys was top of the bill and wasn't cheap.. finding someone who treats the car like its there own is the prob.. the car is mint and 1 that never sees a drop of rain bought mainly for an investment to do a few shows with and have a lol fun but that experience killed all that for me.. im at a stalemate sitch with her now so I try to do little things myself.. she needs servicing properly too and her book stamped but again can't find a decent specialist to take her to and even the BMW main dealers are pretty useless..

Hopefully I can sort this but I really need to find a decent place to take her to keep her maintained for the future..

Good point on the open pipe work being a risk of dirt and dust ingress, another day of inspection ill start getting the parts together..

Tough times that old girl means the world to me.. fuker literally nothing else was touched in there not even the big box of vac packed weed was nibbled just my fuking car the cunts..

Always happy to listen to recommendations for a decent indy but really need an M specialist tbh

And around the London area preferably..there very few and far between if you want that cover of personal care..  great mechanics but these days a cover on the seat seems even to much.

Hope your feeling strong and not to unwell atm

Really appreciate the kind words and offer of help.. your a good old stick oldford many thanks for your time :yep:
