murphyblue
Midweek update. A few were looking hungry last visit so took a kg of organic potato dry fert's and top dressed them all. I might have a problem with the mighty freeze that flowered early which i have only just noticed on the pics i took. Its the bit right in middle just to the left of the brown based pistoles and a little stubby bit directly below will check it in person on weekend but is she turning into a he ???? Everything else doing well bottom of bed pic. Exo Gold bx1's in pots. Pink hairy bits on one of my exo's. Purple freeze bx1's in pots. Mighty gold bx1's going to start soon as well hopefully will have a clear out lower down on weekend. Didn't get a pic of the big Malawi x NL x DFG but showing a few pink preflowers just like her sister has. Her sister is looking spot on i give her a good check over every visit and not a speck of mould so far. She has 2 big main colas and noticed today the hairy bits starting to brown and buds starting to swell i'm sure i read somewhere on here when this starts usually means 3/4 weeks if i remember right. Smells similar to the one i chopped but with something extra added its hard to describe hope someone else gets the same pheno. Pics. And a goodnight plot pic. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
murphyblue
First up a note about the girl i chopped last week which yielded a massive 19g dry. Was never going to be loads but what i got is good clean bud covered in frost smells and smokes a little different from anything i have had in a while almost trippy in its affects. There's defo a whitey or 2 i reckon if mixed with booze so be warned. Will start with the end of plot pic i have taken all the lowers off below a foot and half on all the 9 plants. 3 Mighty Freeze bx1 3 Exo Gold bx1 and 3 Purple freeze bx1. The mighty freeze in the last pic are double the size of their sisters who were planted out before them. OPG x freezeland one got pulled it just died one is a proper runt and refuses to grow and this is the other one. Pots next some Exo Gold bx1's enjoying life and one getting tortured. Couple of Purple Freeze bx1's in 15 gallon pots. Mighty Gold bx1's. Some various pink pistil pics from a few plants. And then we come to the star so far think she is 7/8 weeks into flower will have to read back to be sure. Malawi x NL x DFG about 4ft high smells stunning and no rot so far looking at her today think she will be down in a couple of weeks. She gets a though inspection every visit and so far there is no signs of the dreaded rot saying that the 2 main top buds are pretty fat at the top about 4" round so only time will tell. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
murphyblue
Was bored cos i finished doing everything in the garden this morning. So off i trots to plot its a really good long walk from my house so u could say it was part of my daily exercise. Trimmed the malawi should help with air flow only took pics of her as i did all the rest yesterday. Tried out the macro mode on the phones camera not very good but they were small enough to upload untouched have to shrink the ones in normal mode will have to invest in a proper camera as my old one bit the dust last year. Some pics in normal mode i think are better. edit to add i just read back and she is just under 7 weeks at 48 days since i spotted she was flowering gat plenty of weed so hope she dont rot she is stunning and bud development in such a short space of time as well i hope the 6ft plus triffid turns out like her she now has 3 main tops all roughly the same height. Ned Flanders
Ffs, starting to realise what a shit season I'm having again. Your plants are so different to mine. Dud those plants finish early because of stress or because they're probably auto phenos?

Ned don't worry mate @B-real is right best not to dwell on what u don't have think of what u can improve for next year. Last year was a big learning curve and the one thing i learnt u need to put in the graft to get results and this year i have put my faith in one plot which could still turn into a mould fest. As for the flowering Malawi x NL x DFG i suspect its a bit of both i topped all 3 before going out all 3 looked very similar at plant out. 1 flowered really early and chopped her at 7/8 weeks of flowering because she was starting to rot here and there another thing i learnt last year once it starts there's no stopping it so chop and salvage what u can especially as she only needed a couple more weeks. Her one sister is the lovely big bud one is a foot taller at 4ft and think she is roughly 54 days since i spotted she was flowering. The 3rd one out of the same packet is about 6/7ft tall and only just started flowering i'm hoping she is going to turn into a taller version of the big bud pheno i think the variation is probably why they where freebies and a bit untested. I will admit i am lucky with the plot as its a good secure plot which gets the sun most of the day and so far been very lucky with the weather not had nowhere near the rain we usually get where other parts the weather been pretty shite. My best advice i could give anyone is find a good secure plot that gets good sun and don't be afraid to do what you want with it but if it needs graft do it you can only reap the benefits.
murphyblue
Weekend update. Will start with pot corner think both the purple freeze bx1's are flowering and the smaller exo gold the taller one is showing preflowers so don't think that will be long either. The other exo gold bx1 i have in a 15 gallon pot and been training her. Bed pics. Some various bud pics got a good few flowering now. The last pic is the little mighty freeze little bud on a stick looks lovely though. The big Malawi x NL x DFG has finally started going and looks like the same structure as the one still in flower. Took plenty of pics of the flowering malawi she is really browning off the pistils now but strangely seems to be the lower buds more than the top buds. Still no mould and she has had all sorts of weather chucked at her this week and i finally caved in and cut 2 lower buds off as a bit of a sample think she is just shy of 8 weeks flowering. I am hoping the weather will be kind as judging by the amount of white hairy bits she is still throwing out she needs 2 weeks maybe more. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
murphyblue
I am hoping to visit either tomorrow or wednesday as i am going visiting up north thursday and wont be back till sunday. We got some pretty shitty weather forecast for the rest of the week ment to come nice again next week. Not sure exactly but the malawi x is just over 8 weeks into proper flower i chopped a sample thats still drying but it looks and smells stunning. My instinct is saying chop before she rots in the welsh weather but would like to see her finish properly. I am dreading the next visit cos if she is clean its a no brainer and will leave her if she can make it rot free till monday think i will be home and dry. But the weather been pretty shite since the weekend visit so because of the bud size been worried the dreaded rot might creep in. I noticed at the weekend a few leaves starting to change colour which could mean signs of the colder weather lately or signs she is starting to finish. I think i will visit tomorrow post some pics here and get some help i really did not want her hanging while i am away but any signs of rot and she is for the chop cant let all that lovely bud rot before i can get to it next.
murphyblue
The malawi is down trimmed and now drying. Lost about half ounce maybe a bit more to the rot but got some nice stinking bud that's plastered in tric's so its all good pics at the end. Nearly all the exo gold bx1's and the purple freeze bx1 are flowering a few of the exo's are showing pink pistils. The little mighty freeze bx1 is a bud on a stick. Was hoping the mighty golds would have started flowering properly by now so looking like October for them BE NICE WEATHER. The triffid the last of the malawi freebie is still the tallest on plot she has 3 long branches all roughly the same height. And finally the Malawi x NL x DFG like i said earlier i am well happy here's the pics. Just smoked the hash couldn't resist very nice in deed. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.

Mighty golds were my best of the bunch last year Sorry i didn't reply sooner mate been away up Stockport way visiting and only took my non weed phone with me. And in answer to ur question i just don't know what i can tell u is it works. Well as i said i been away a few days and been worried sick all the time i was away. Will post a couple of pics of my drying set up first and didn't have the cab open long as this Malawi stinks. Under my veg cab. The engine room. Temp and humidity when i opened the box. I never did set the time on that thing. I bypassed the in built wall fan so to angle the spare fan upwards. The eagle eyed might spot the missing buds in the bottom right of the next pic they were the little sample i took 8 days ago. Weighed in at 2g measurements are important this year as i want to keep a proper account of everything it will make things easier when choosing next years plants. Saying that the plot will be totally different next year if it survives as the main bed i plan on growing 4 large plants and a couple of big ones in pot corner. Here's the largest bud in the above pic looking really frosty will give everything till Tuesday de-stalk them weigh it up and into jars well half of it will go to my mate he can use his own jars . Light and airy buds but shit its a bloody lovely smoke her little sister was a bit trippy but she has something more more flavour more bugger i dunno know ask @Mcgarret as looks like he has the same pheno. shit i think i need another lie down. murphyblue
Plot update as i missed the weekend and my mate said weather been shit down this way while i was away. The only one i really had to worry about was the little bud on a stick mighty freeze to be honest the rest would have been glad of the water. Pot corner is looking good both the Purple Freeze bx1's that are in 15 gallon pots are flowering about a week maybe two the two Exo Gold bx1's i have in 5 gallon the smaller is flowering all white pistils on her and the larger one is just about to start flowering looking at her. The other Exo Gold bx1 which i have in a 15 gallon pot i am very pleased with the only problem i can see so far is my bending may have slowed her down a bit as she is not flowering yet but has a lovely umbrella shaped canopy. The bed is looking ok all the Mighty freeze bx1's are flowering not big plants by any means but bud is bud. I think at the bottom of the bed there's only one exo and one purple freeze not flowering. The Mighty Gold bx1's are looking spot on all just starting to flower so looks like an October finish for them unless they finish quickly. The last of the Malawi x NL x DFG is a good 7ft tall i reckon has 3 tops all the same size and each branch is showing bud all over signs of being the same as her sister that's drying but no pink in her pistils like her sister 3 seeds same pack 3 different pheno's 2 suffered with rot ok the smallest one i lost the most on but will watch the big lady very carefully. Well the only thing left is the various bud shots from around the plot first pic Mighty freeze bx1 then an Exo gold bx1 and a the rest are Purple freeze bx1's. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
murphyblue
De-stalked it all last night it weighed in at 53g in total not as much as i thought to be honest but i did ditch a couple of iffy looking buds at my age cant be doing with smoking mouldy blow. And i know i done good cos my mate went farrrking helll why didn't i double bag it soon as i got in the van this morning.
