Seen a few variations of this tech now.

Excellent stuff your doing bro keep on going with it dude

I will put my order in for my unit now lol

I've always wanted a play with this tech but cant learn code for shit

I want a unit that can do the following:

Web and screen based logging of

galvanic isolated PH/EC/DO meters and peristaltic pumps for metered dosing

3 rechargeable cubes with dht 22's in that could be placed wireless and link back to the main hub that could then turn on/off a humidifier at setpoint etc

And a Couple of temp probes for water

All in one Dwc master controller basically lol

Good luck with it all

Cheers man...Would be a mission but i reckon you could bludgeon yer way through building that kinda system..without learnin to code.

I copied and pasted my way through everything ive done. Node red has loads of modules you can download that do the clever shit.

The wireless devices would wanna use Xbee 433mhz modems (ive used them on drones and they work well and were easy to setup)

1s lipo batteries and usb chargin circuits...and some 3d printed enclosures.

Pi, node red and a load of sensors and wires would do the rest..i saw a node for automatically exporting data to google graphs...be a fair old learnin curve but theres loads of help out there:)

My next project is to rebuild my little system into an old ammo crate complete with MCB's, Modbus power meter, contactor and powercon outlets...passes some time while civilisation collapses :)

cheers fella

People's idea of help is the finished box with a pretty pink ribbon round it with a personal guarantee, failure of which is the forfeiture of one's soul...

Sorry - it just tickled me pink!

However, it was useful to see how others might look at this same project and gave me a few ideas.

I wasn't taking the piss just saying I personally wouldn't have the capability to put it all together..

Was up all night trying to get the dht22 sensor to work. Just returns the check wiring error. Try'd a few variations from online sources but couldn't figure it out.

I did however setup some led's set to dim/toggle via the node red UI so i did make some progress and do feel a lot more comfortable with the node red interface.

@Gsp1ce you remember how yours is wired ?

I've done the basics of a flowchart so I know what's happening where.

So I thought I'd look at the components list to see how much it will cost - and more than 70% of stuff is out of stock - presumably because of covid. I've sent off 2 emails (one last week) and no replies.

I'll spend the while learning node-red instead!

Good luck to those in this project! :yep:
