New Strains and Some Old Favourites, 8 Plant Multistrain Dinafem Adventure.

The Remo Chemo are being stubbornly slow, despite being really slow one of them is looking nice, the other one seems to be struggling a bit but since I put it in the 0.7 litre pot it is waking up a bit now and I think it will be ok.

Some times you have to be patient in this game and these 2 seed plants are testing mine out. They will be ok once they get a bit bigger.

This Dinachem plant was flying along until I potted it up to the bigger pot. Its slowed right down and the bottom two sets of leaves went yellow and shrivelled up and dropped off. I hope it picks up as the Dinachem I grew out in my last grow was the cream of the crop and is a top draw strain for me. I wish I took a cut of her but its easy to say that in hindsight.

Finally the Strawberry Amnesia was flying along and then it just started yellowing and stopped growing. I am not sure if this one is going to make it which is a real shame as I loved the one I grew out last time.

I suspect my problems are caused by me having no airflow going through the prop tent and the higher temps this time of the year. The tent does have a sock at the top at one end and at the other end the whole end of the tent is made from some fabric that keeps the light in but can let air get sucked through it so I can install an extract fan with passive intake. I was thinking of a 4 inch Ruck but I think it will be too much for the little tent so I brought a bathroom extractor fan that I am going to try out.

I was recently given a USB microscope that I can use with my phone camera and I have been looking at dry cured bud under it and it’s not that impressive. Yesterday I cut a few small sugar leaves off of my Sweet Deep Grapefruit and Killer Skunk and stuck them under it and was amazed at how good the resin heads look under it.

I have to admit I haven’t really looked at them before and usually chop it down when it looks ready to my naked eye. These are just test shots and as I have a week off work I will be experimenting with this a lot next week and try and get some better photos. It’s a bit of a faf to use but with some practice I reckon I can get some nice macro shots wit it.

I have been getting very much into making cannabutter over the last year, I have been experimenting a lot using plant trim, Keif, air buds, cola tops, oil reclaimed from vape glassware, the bud I have left after it has been vaped

The best batch so far was 3oz of air buds from various strains that I had in kilner jars for around 3 year, the weed was that golden brown colour and had no odour but the biscuits I made from the butter were like taking LSD, very trippy they were. Me and my small circle love them and we had some very funny evenings.

I made a batch the other day and took some photos along the way so I will post up a photo guide on how I make it tomorrow. I will be making a few batches during the course of this diary so if Mark don’t mind I will post my butter making experiments on here just for some shits and giggles.

Beautiful looking butter :bong:

Let's keep an eye on the young plants that are lagging behind.

If it was just say purps#1 I would have said possible genetics as it's a new strain not grown out in public forums until now. With it showing on Remo Chemo and The strawberryamnesia this I think we need to watch ;)

Apart from that both purple Moby dick look identical and always great to see some edibles being shown. Think I might have to do a butter run :)

Did you say you have had success with reclaim from oil rigs (dab bongs) I use bongs for flower and rigs for oil. I need to iso clean my rigs so will have quite a bit of reclaim :bong:

Normally I'll use it to season a new ti nail but if I could use for edibles that would be fantastic :)

All the best

@JamJar I am a bit busy this evening dude but I will post up my butter making guide tomorrow, it’s amazing stuff, that batch of butter and cookies in the photos was made with 3oz of trim and half oz of good quality flowers which made 40 cookies and only a quarter of one was needed to mash me up, they were potent.

This the latest batch which I made as an experiment from vape reclaim, Its gives a really nice and heavy narcotic effect, good for sleeping.

@Dinafem-Mark What a difference a day makes, both the struggling Purps#1 and Remo Chemo are looking a lot better today as they seem to have started growing again. I know the genetics are sound mate, I think I need to get some air flowing through the prop tent.

The reclaim is from glassware that I use when vapourising flowers in my Evo Cloud and Solo 2 vapes, no combustion is involved which makes the oil clean and tar free. I will post up some details on how to farm oil from vape glassware some time tomorrow.

Here are the Purps and Remo that have woken up a bit today.

Its day 69 in my flower tent and they will be getting chopped sometime at the weekend.

The Sweet Deep Grapefruit still looks great at nearly 10 weeks and is my favourite plant in whole grow. As usual with Dinafem it is a very stable and vigorous strain and it’s been a pleasure to grow out.

I have taken a load of shots as this is the last time I will be photographing her before the chop.

Time to get those scissors out and your fingers sticky mate  ;)

Very impressive looking buds which really have filled out a treat and now will reward you well once down, dry and cured ;)

You've smashed this one out of the park brother  ;)

All the best

All good stuff dude ;)

The SDG look great at 10 weeks and the butter sounds good. I only made butter the once and that was years ago. It stank the house out cooking it 3 hours in the oven lol Made some brownies with it and it was strong, made with White Rhino.

Be nice to see how you do it.

I think you're right on the nail with your veg tent needing an extractor and some airflow, especially at this time of year.

Maybe the small P#1 is taking the Pak side and a bit slower than the other.

Good to see they've picked up anyway dude :yep:
