Cheers, I’m really enjoying it. Except that I’m forgetful, so I always forget something and end up having to make several trips where one should have done.

it could still all come crashing down though…

Yea, I shouldn’t need to water them at all for a good while I shouldn’t think.

First time I’ve ever used slug pellets, and I don’t like it tbf. All the local birds will

be eating poisoned slugs and snails:mellow:

Well this seems to be an early summer! Had about 5-6 days no rain now, glorious sun though. No rain predicted anytime soon either!

I got the rest of the plants out yesterday. Gave everything a litre of water. The ground is so dry though that I’m going to give them more water today. I go to the little stream and fill 5 milk bottles and climb back up. Prob takes 2-3 times to water everything I think.

Thanks Alys, it sure is!
now all I have to do is keep an eye on watering, and hope now more low flying search and rescue choppers go low overhead, or police drones!

Awesome plots man. Living the homestead dream.

What do you do when the plants start growing outwards and through the wire cage?

@Chick0ndipper

hey thanks man. The cages are 2ft high. I’m hoping they’ll go up above those, so if they start growing through, I’ll just pull them back in and let them come up the inside til over 2 foot, or just leave it be.

cheers @B-real, if this weather lasts all year then they’ll be looking v sweet by the end!
