Underdog
SUPER#61 PLOT I visited yesterday to put some sulphate of potash and bonemeal down. I'm happy to say I was met with a jungle haha A small handful are well into flower too I am starting to get concerned with airflow. It would be gutting to see these girls turn to mush come harvest time. I'll be buying a battery powered hedge trimmer to really cut back the brambles. I may even defoliate a few of the girls. The pictures really don't do the plants justice. They all tower above my head and are doing really well
OldFord
That row of 61's is looking very happy & healthy mate As you stated you need to be looking at getting some air movement through the plot , i will say the 61's were hard as nails for me , all the way through til november and still held out like a champ Keep the updates coming mate

Revive
@Underdog looking great buddy, some lovely healthy ladys I see the plot is closing in with the surrounding vegetation as you already mentioned and I totally agree airflow is gonna be a bit of an issue unless you open it up a bit.. its a little bit of graft for a lot of reward imo Keep it up dude best of luck getting these finished

Underdog
@Revive. Hey hey thanks man. Yeah I'm going to really cut back the brambles. Strange year this year, although we haven't had much sun, the brambles and hymilayan balsam has grew muchhhhh more than the previous years. Funny how it works out sometimes isn't it?

Underdog
ALL 3 STRAIN PLOT - MINIMUM EFFORT So this is the first time I got to the plot since I planted them. I'm not really surprised to say it hasn't went too well. So as a reminder this is what it looked like when I planted 16 plants in total I believe. I really didn't do much. I just brush cutted the hell out of the planting area. No cages (just animal repellers) a no till bed (just drill augered a hole for each plant) It was a little experiment to see how well the ladies would do with little effort as I always put a lot of graft into my plots. I arrived to a jungle. Barely being able to see any of the girls. I carefully removed the surrounding vegetation Only 7 of the ladies remained. There has definitely been flooding here. (Unless some prick came along and dumped a door) In my opinion only 4 plants are worthy of coming back to harvest. There are many variables to consider here. Where did the other plants go? Did the animal repellers fail and the rabbits had them and left the rest? Did the flood doom them? Did the surrounding vegetation deprive them off precious nutrients and sun light and they withered and died? Who knows. But in my opinion, minimum effort plots aren't worth it. I will stick to putting a lot of effort into my plots. The pest repellers have also disappeared (all 3 of them) I'm assuming the flooding took them away. There are no signs of the plants that disappeared either. Anyway, not a complete loss so far but certainly nothing to brag about. It was only an experiment after all anyway. Stay tuned for more updates gentlemen.
