It's in their blurb somewhere bud, I can't do links and stuff but if you google 'advanced nutes and ro water' it should come up.

These are my results with water base EC .3 straight from the tap...best yield 1.6 gpw under 350w led.

5ltr buckets to be full of roots and they weren't. Never affected growth, yield or quality though.

5 litre doesn't sound a very big bucket. 2.5 litre even smaller

what was the yield like in the 5L?

ive had a look and from what I can make out, the idea that I wouldn't need calmag is not true

what they are on about is their 'pH perfect' technology - they say it works better with ro water

which is a shame as I need to look for better calmag. or coco nutes

and which also raises the issue of me wanting to stick with shogun coco a&b if I can, for the time being, as ive just bought 25L and only used about 5L...

- the Ca deficiency issue has showed the early signs in the leaves of a couple of my 8 plants now in mid-veg

when they hit flower thats when the damage comes more apparent on the leaf

I can only go on the results I've been achieving over the last 10 years or so that I've used them.

Never added any other supplements just their A+B grow and bloom with the Buddhas Tree.

No deficiencies or even a yellow leaf in all that time and never bought a bottle of Calmag in my life.

Have a go with their coco formula...no ph adjustment needed... 1ltr of each costs about £25, should be enough for a crop.

I'm now on my third coco run in a soft water area (0.1+ ec) using Hydrocrop Hydrosol dry nutes.

No calmag required. Just a bit of ph adjustment that seems to remain stable.

I don't use a big res and only mix enough for a couple of days.

I'm really impressed with how happy my plants are.

My wallet's pretty happy too.

:-)

do soft water coco nutes have more Ca & Mg in them to compensate for the lack of the same in the softer water?

This is getting more confusing by the minute...really not sure quite what you're getting at bud...

I have never used, bought, considered or needed Calmag in any grow I've ever done...:yep:

I use advanced sensi ph perfect nutes...Just the base A+B Grow and Bloom... + Buddhas Tree PK during flower...NOTHING ELSE!!

Lots of naysayers for these but I find they give perfect results, no ph adjustments and in your case...

this is what you said and what ive been on about

did you forget saying it?
