Does anyone temper their chocolate?

There's no need to temper the chocolate if you keep the temperature down when you are doing the initial melt, sounds like you are letting it get too hot, when making the 'double boiler' make sure that the water is not in contact with th bowl and have the hotplate on the lowest possible setting

my dog hewey loves it too :smokin

Chocolate is poisonous to dogs so please stop feeding it to your dog!

Just made some, are cooling in the fridge - was more of an off-the-cuff, very rough experiment. I only used 1g of Northern Lights so will see what the chocs do. Will have one when I get back from my Thai Boxing class tonight. In a few weeks I'll get my bubblebag kit, will be using bubble for chocs - can't wait. :boxing:

My current recipe is quite strong but my tolerance is high

an ounce of best bud (finely ground)

350gs of dark chocolate

80gs of finely crushed bran/cornflakes

150gs of dried blueberries

using the same method as Danzig on post 1 this will make 28 chocolates, two of these lasts me from 5pm till midnight usually :smokin:

Just made some.

150G dark chocolate melted in a glass bowl over boiling water.

Added around 0.5G of finely chopped weed.

Mixed well.

Laid out some parchment paper on a baking tray.

Spooned out some rough blobs. 8 of them. It's going straight in my gob doesn't need to look good.

Fridge for 20 mins.

Consume.

I tried a slightly adjusted version of this recipe some years ago...I reduced the amount of chocolate to 100gms & increased the hash to 4gms, thus cut into 20 pieces, you get 200mg per dose.

I was able to get relief from as little a 200mg per evening after work.

I'd probably up the dose to 400-600mg per day now if I could obtain clean polm or black indica, but I can't so...

I didn't seem to be able to get the same symptomatic relief with herbal material...perhaps I had not prepared the bud properly...but being too spaced out was less helpful than a good Indica bodystone, which melted away every atom of pain & tension throughout my mind & body. It was like a miracle.

Just laws can't come soon enough for me, but I might be dead by then.

But this choc saved my life.

Cannabis chocolate – thc4ms

This is a recipe for home made cannabis chocolate

You will need

150 gram bar of chocolate

3.5 grams of good bud

Glass bowl

Pan of water

Grinder

Place the pan of water on a hob with the glass bowl inside the pan, place the chocolate (break it into pieces it will melt easier) into the bowl, by using the bowl inside of the pan of water you have created a double boiler. This will ensure that the chocolate is not heated too much. Gently melt the chocolate, do not heat too much or too quickly.

Do not use a microwave to melt the chocolate as this will cause burning.

Finely chop the herb in a coffee grinder, the finer ground the better, ideally the ground cannabis should resemble dust.

When the heated chocolate resembles a thick liquid with no lumps slowly add the ground bud.

Stir well to ensure equal distribution of weed throughout the chocolate.

Carefully remove the bowl from the pan (take care it will be hot) and pour into an ice cube making tray, when the chocolate is set push out the cubes and keep in tin foil or a plastic container in the fridge.

Please ensure that children cannot access the chocolate.
