A Critical, Industrial kinda thing... in the garage!

Mate they look super healthy, no issues despite those low air temps. It can be a nightmare in the garage once those winter temps kick in. What about getting autos in the winter so you can run 24/7 ? That should sort your temps and humidity issues.

Keep those roots as warm as possible I reckon you'll be ok.

Reckon you'll be over a key if you keep this up. Best of luck pal.

Cheers TD

@Dinafem-Mark I think I now have the humidity under control by simply increasing rate of extraction.  The air temp im going to ryvabd resolve for this grow by boxing in a oil rad and hooking my intake ducting up to this. I’ll turn my intake off at lights out and let the extract fan drag air through the intake duct and warm box if that makes sense? Although I’m not that concerned about air temps, they are showing no signs of any lock out, and I assume that’s because the roots are toasty warm!!

@Topdraw thanks it the kind words mate, I think they are looking a picture of health!! So not too concerned with lights out air temps! As long as we don’t drop to freezing!!!  I’m thinking of running some autos in a new veg tent with a 250w MH or 315W CMH on my next run and then dragging air from there to keep lights off temps more healthy in main flower tent....

thanks for stopping in guys!! Next update in a few days with a bit of bud porn, things are starting to look quite mature on a couple of them!!

@JamJar sorry mate completely missed this!! Yes mate you simply roll it out and stick it to the bottom of your tent, I covered it in sand to add a bit of thermal mass, then just sit my trays on top of the lot.  My tent is sat on 100mm of kingspan, think that’s fairly crucial to ensure all the heat goes up and not down into the cold concrete below.

Hope that helps!

Critical +2.0 budlet, not looking too bad for Day 36!! Getting really frosty in the tent now!! Think a new carbon filter might be the order of the day after this grow!!!

Well done mate looking bloody lovely.

excellent canopy , hope it lasts you brother.

Yeh I'm in a garage as well and air temps don't mean a lot , its root temps that are crucial . You could , effectively draw in freezing cold air from your intake , like snow on the ground outside freezing and that can be blowing right on the plants. Long as they have warm roots from some form of under heating like you with under floor heating and me with leccy blankets.

Did I read your underfloor heating was like 300 watts? I saw that and thought shit, I think a leccy blanket is like 70watts , mine comes on when temps get below about 22 at pot level and last few weeks at least they are on most of the day.

Looks like a lovely crop of fat fucking colas , well done mate.

@zztopbudz yes mate it’s like 150w/m2 so it’s 300W in total.... keeps the pots nice and toasty!!

Thanks for stopping in mate, it amazes me what you get up to in your garage... simply staggering!!

@Dinafem-Mark are these two strains seriously ready at 49-56 days?!?

if they are I need to think about starting to taper the feed off a bit!

let me know boss,

Anyone else got any guidance on finishing time for Industrial Plant or Critical +2.0 in @Dinafem-Mark ‘s absence?

in other news humidity is now spiking at 60% which I think is probably acceptable? And air temps are bottoming out at around 16C which I’m ok with given that the roots never drop below 21C.

I reckon they have 2-3 weeks left tops. A few are looking well on their way to being done already... lots of orange pistils.

If it's just spiking at that, ie, after watering I'd say it's fine. If it's at that often when your lights are off I'd try and get it down some more. Should be ok though under 60 if you've plenty of air movement at lights out. I have my oscillating fan on a timer to go off at lights off but if I had too high humidity I would leave it running 24/7.

@jadenugs cheers for popping in mate.

Ive just been out and the min/max thingy is saying max was 55% over the last 48 hours.... I’m happy with that. I leave the tower fan on 24/7 blowing across the canopy and my active intake comes in under the canopy. It’s very windy in there, lots of air movement.

@beezee thanks for that mate... think I need to start flushing them then. As we are at around Day 43... I shall mix up the next lot of feed at ec 1.4 and then keep adding water to the mix over the course of next week. Then maybe get the scissors out around the 27th!!

cant wait to try it. How was the C+2?

Hello mate and sorry for the late reply :)

Right our critical+ and industrial plant are 2 of our most fastest plants we carry. I have had great results with industrial plant at anywhere from day 45-50 and critical+/critical+2.0 45-55 days and this is consistent. Yes depending on the high you want you could chop at day 45 with both but I like a little Amber in there so tend to go a little past 25% Amber which is usually day 50 for both ladies :yep:

If possible I would try to get that humidity down to below 50% as critical more so than industrial is a super dense strain :)

Going of the pictures I would push feed until day 43 then do a plane water flush which should leave a nice end product even if you only do 7 days :yep:

Looking great so far mate and thank you for taking the time to update  :bong:

Sorry for my late reply mate not sure how I missed it :(

Will be back in on the next one:)

All the best

Mark..

@Dinafem-Mark no worries mate, thanks for finding the time to pop in with some word of wisdom!!

we are around day 45 now so I have one more feed or thereabouts left in the water butt which they will get tomorrow, then I will get them on plain water for 5-7 days or so.  Shouldn’t need too much of a flush as I’ve not been pushing the EC that high!

Cant wait to get these ladies down and in jars!! I’d like to take them around 50-52days as I quite like a racey edge!

Thinking of mumming up one of the thin leaf phenos of Critical. Looks a beast!!

I’ll get some pictures up tomorrow!
