Strain: Royal Dane x Durban Excellent

Breeder: A breeder cross

Year of grow: 2011

Reg/Fem seeds: Reg

Latitude of grow: 52

Site/Soil Type: Guerilla/rough stoney area but excellent soil

Flowering date: really early, around mid July.

Weeks in flower: 7 - 8.5 weeks.

Harvest date: Early September through to late September

Yield: Med/High.

Mold: Only a tiny bit >2%.

Taste/Smell: Definable lemon smell with a hint of something nasty like I cant explain lol. This cross smells a lot. A large amount of these could give your plot away, they really do honk when in late flower. When dried and cured the catpiss / ammonia smell is still v. prominent.

Potency/Type of stone: A few hits on a evaporator got my brain fizzing within minutes, when taking notes I forgot what I was gonna say before pen hit pad. A few more hits from the vape I got some good OEVs (Open Eye Visuals) my peripheral vision was a halo of fast flashing lights and zooming in and out too. I can feel it strongly behind my eyes. Definitely a antidepressant cus I feel good with no anxiety or paranoia.

Grow again: Yes +

Strain - Purple Maroc

Breeder - Female Seeds

Year of G - 2011

Latitude - 51*

Location/soil - Urban wasteland in thorny jungle, compacted sandy soil, ammended with organic compost and bat guano.

Plant Date - sprouted seeds June then planted out late July.

Harvest Date - Between 5th and 15th Oct.

Average Yield - 3oz.

Average Height - 6 foot (after a brutal mid season stem snap, to keep them short).

Mould - 25% loss to Powdery mildew, more susceptible than I was expecting.

Potency - Strong 8/10, a solid hit with good head/body mix.

Smell - Mild when growing, soft, sweet hash. Then after a dry and a cure, the Maroc aroma is there, a light pine/incense.

Taste - The taste of sweet piney Maroc is really very good.

Grow again - Yes. :yep:

Comments - I was a bit surprised at how much mould but the end product was very good.

This has one of the best highs of any GG buds I've smoked. A lovely warm, comfortable high.

Kudos to Female seeds for letting them go for a very fair price (if only others would follow).

This has been the highlight of this years GG for me.

Planted out- early may

Harvested- Mid October

Mould- None on early pheno, later pheno got heavy duty mildew oiled/bubbled the whole plant

Potency- 7

Smell- Very fruity like opal fruits smell

Taste- Strong and fruity!

Looks - Big buds nice appearance

Height - About 6-7ft

Grow again- Unsure not 2012

Comments

Got 2 reg freebies and got 2 females from those so good so far. Had them in different spots. Harvested first mid oct no mold and high yield, the other got mildew all over so i did not weigh as was bubbled or oiled. I had a few other plants get mildew in 2011 first time this has happened.

Seemed to grow well and could be a winner in UK except for heavy mildew on one.

Would be good to hear if others had any luck with these as must of been a few run as was from big attitude promo in 2011.

Flowering date: Late August

Weeks in flower: 9-10 weeks.

Strain: NepIran (HFH Tester Seeds)

Breeder: Esben HFH Seeds

Year of grow: 2011

Reg/Fem seeds: Reg

Latitude of grow: 52

Site/Soil Type: Guerilla/railway embankment

Flowering date: Early September.

Weeks in flower: 8/9 weeks.

Harvest date: Early November

Yield: Med.

Mold: None.

Taste/Smell: Oranges, Clementine & Raspberry scented buds. Tastes like diluted oranges upon inhale. Not much bag appeal with these buds though.

Potency/Type of stone: Actual stoner notes :- Face flushing, no body stone as yet. High is all in the head, 'headband' sensation. Sensation has shifted from the forehead to to rear of the head now is more 'mohican' sensation. I feel like a Viking Invader. KNOCK OUT! I found myself with my head slumped to the side snoozing like a good un'!

Grow again: Yes, good night time smoke.

Strain: Oldtimes f1 pack

Breeder: Ugorg

Year of grow: 2011

Reg/Fem seeds: Reg

Latitude of grow: 52

Site/Soil Type: Guerilla/good soil, south facing plot.

Flowering date: 3rd week of September

Weeks in flower: 7 weeks.

Harvest date: 1st week of November

Yield: Medium

Mold: None.

Look/Taste/Smell: Half decent sized buds with good crystal coverage, leafy though. Eerm .. peppery smelling I'd say.

Potency/Type of stone: Like being in a bubble type stone, comfortable, warm stone. Light headed, dreamy yet alert. Wears off quickly though, short lived high.

Grow again: Not at my lat of 52, growers at a lower lat should fair a lot better as this strain has good outdoor potential especially the way they held of the weather and mold. I only got one fast female the others were harvested at 70%/80% finished. I dusted the fast female with some really early 'Early Durban' pollen I collected in August, I made Oldtimes x Early Durban seeds which I'll run this season.

Year Of Grow: 2011

Strain/breeder: Smellyberry (Ugorg)

Harvest time: 30th Oct. predicted frost next morning. was a mental last week with a fkn hilarious harvest night, prob worth its own thread at some point. needed 2 more weeks at least.

Latitude of grow: 53N

Location: Top of a south facing embankment 30 odd foot above the track.

Soil/Prep: each in 60l compo bags. Guano, FBB, Cal/mag, Epsoms. Got dry couple times. Will never grow in bags again.

Average yield: 1oz

Mould: ~5%

Grow Again: Not outdoors at my lat, needed few more weeks but was surpisingly non mouldy despite horrific last couple of weeks.

Taste and smell was the essence of smellyberry. Average potency. quite leafy but tops dense and fruity. Just too late for me.
