Guest Nunsacred
Strain/breeder: Arne's Hash Plant / Hybrids From Hell Harvest time: Last week in October Latitude of grow: 52 Location: Good enough spot, no prep Average yield: this plant was 59g (average including last year's one 110g) Mould: 2% - just one bud, must have got physically damaged by a snail or slug first, I reckon Potency: 8/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes Grew this strain last year, earlier plant out, much bigger, uglier plant than this one..... and earlier harvest! The smell from the curing buds is quite sharp & bitter this time, less like pukey Haze - actually like gunpowder, unlit fireworks. The vape from the buds is smooth and lovely, and the buzz is exactly like last year's one - a clear but heavy Haze battering. This year I did actually make some hash and you bet I put some of this in it.
Guest RandyBoBandy
strain: Power Kush Breeder: Dinafem Harvest time: 23rd october Latitude: 51 Location: bramble clearing Yield: no scales maybe about 2oz but i only kept a little bit due to powdery mildew, even tho it was only visible on a couple of stems Mold: no bud rott at all but had some powdery mildew Potency: strong Year of grow: 2011 This plant had realy good potencial, she was left from before it had started flowering till the end, so it had no flowering feed.. gutted! god knows how she would have done, the buds are realy dense, very citral and very tasty If you take a look at the picture you can see the bush behind and to the sides.. behind the plant is where it got the mildew, so ill grow this next year in a better spot and ill know that she dont start till first week of september, i understand now that most dont start till then, but this was my first grow and all my plants had started early august Grow again: yes
Guest RandyBoBandy
strain: Frisian dew Breeder: Dutch passion Harvest time: 2nd week of october Latitude: 51 Location: nettle patch soil.. soil was very damp so i used a swamp tube with 30 ltrs of john innes Yield: no scales, a lot! Mold: None, had a small bit of stem rott starting towards the end, where i had bent her over there was a big bend at the bottom of the main stem, close to the ground, started to get fluff but was no problem and easy sorted Potency: very decent stone Year of grow: 2011 I know theres frisian dews already in this thread, but you obviously need as many entries of each plant to give you a good idea on the plant, all my frisians was different, some was tiny because of the soil and bad prep this one did the best being out in a more open erea, she had been topped and then a week later she was tied down she was about 9ft and heres one that didnt do to great because of bad soil and no prep she was a few foot Grow again: yes EDIT: also had a monster of a frisian in a woody area, lost the whole plant to stem rott (all side branches) Edited November 14, 2011 by RandyBoBandy

Guest Nunsacred
Strain : Outdoor Grapefruit x Guerilla Gold#2 ("Golden Grapefruit") Harvest time: 4th October (needed another week, really) Latitude of grow: 52 Location: Good spot, swamp tube Average yield: 124g Mould: 10% - every cola affected - forced early harvest Potency: 7/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes great bag appeal, nice sweet&sour flavour, nice rushy indica buzz. This is what most people want from the herb. This plant was a bit overcrowded by bigger ganja plants, so it got afternoon and evening sun but was shaded from early morning sun. Might have made the mould worse than it need have been.... The buds are really solid indica nugs, the best plant to trim in all my grows so far in terms of effort per ounce. This didn't start flowering particularly early, I remember thinking it had better get a move on, and then it did like nothing I've seen before, actually, this was very quick to pack on the mass and oil up. So it's the most 'Dutch' style herb I've ever grown & TBH I like it a lot. It's a lot like a Superskunk (G13 Labs) plant I grew last year, but with a simpler, better, flavour and hit. Yum. Both parental strains have a good reputation. They will be a lot easier to find than this hybrid, I think.
Ali-G
Strain : Blue Cheese Breeder : Barney's Farm Harvest time: 13th October Latitude of grow: 52 Location: South west facing field, not enough direct light in autumn Average yield: 40-45g ish Mould: 15% had to chop due to mould Potency: 7/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Not next year, maybe in future began flowering a tad on the late side, I had to chop at around 6weeks in, the buds are very potent considering (bit leafy though, not enough intense light) ,she has a subtle high, Indica style laziness and Sativa thoughts. a fat blunt of this will do the job for your average G It would do very nicely in a garden, if you could give it a bit of shelter during the last weeks of flowering, Had a nice structure and no problems until rot

Percy Bud
Strain - Timewarp (regular) Breeder - Next Generation seeds Year of G - 2011 Latitude - 51* Location/soil - Urban wasteland in thorny jungle, compacted sandy soil, ammended with organic compost and bat guano. Plant Date - Planted indoors march, planted 5 but only 2 germinated, ended up with 1 fem. Cloned and planted out June. Harvest Date - 5th Oct (but was a week or two early ). Average Yield - Around l oz each Average Hight - 3/4 foot Mould - 10% Potency - 7/8-10, stronger than I was expecting, with a good head/body high. Smell - Mild fruity/citrus. Taste - Sweet fruity bud, yum. Grow again - Yes, may need to plant a few seeds to get a pick of the fems but it's a good smoke. Comments - This plant got hammered with heavy persistent rain in early september but recovered in the late sunny spell. Most of the leaves had turned brown by then but the buds were intact. Smokes alot better than it looks, promise. Roll on 2012.
Guest doze
Strain/breeder: Dinafem cheese (exodusxAfghani) Harvest time: 6th November Latitude of grow: 54/55 Location: Clearing of nettle/bramble, grass and horsetails. Average yield: Not weighed, a bit less than an oz. Mold: A bit, maybe 10% Potency: 7/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes, still got some cuts, may even get some beans. This was a late starting first GG for me. I had some cuts from a trim of some indoor cuts that were 3 weeks into flowering - they went out about mid June. They finished about the first week in Nov but I wasn't able to visit for 11 (very wet) days beforehand so the mould could have been better contained. Grew vigorously, I reckon that at my lat and with the shit autumn we had it did pretty well. I think it's worth a punt for cheese lovers (though, tbh, a bit of the cheesy smell seems to be lost outdoors. Guest doze
Strain/breeder: Critical+, Dinafem Harvest time: 6th November Latitude of grow: 54/55 Location: Clearing of nettle/bramble, grass and horsetails. Average yield: Not weighed, guess 1.5 oz Mold: A bit, maybe 15% Potency: 7/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes. Biggest plants for me by a long way. Planted out as 4 inch high seedlings 17th June and got to 7 foot.Biggest, densest buds too. Stone, pretty regular indicta. Same as above, should have been checked more often for mould. Guest doze
Strain/breeder: KC36, KC Brains. Harvest time: 6th and 11th November Latitude of grow: 54/55 Location: Clearing of nettle/bramble, grass and horsetails. Average yield: Not weighed, guess half an ounce. Mold: None Potency: 7.5/10 Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes. If someone had asked me the "grow again" question the day I harvested these I'd have said definitely not. But to survive to 11th of Nov in a wet autumn mould-free is not bad and then they they survived an outbreak of mould in the drying room unscathed. They went out very late (first week in July) and were weak due to germination probs. They never got very big and the buds were small. But then you dry the stuff - wow. Never smelt anything like it and a bit of sativa in the high, even though the plants looked typically indicta. Got to give this a proper chance next year. Guest Nunsacred
Strain/breeder: GG#2 x Easy Sativa/Killerskunk (anon.) Harvest time: 14th October Latitude of grow: 52N Location: Good conditions, but shaded from evening sun Average yield: 24g Mould: none Potency: 65% - nicer than it sounds, though, quite satisfying. Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes. This was a small skinny sativa sister with some dark colours to the buds and leaves. Grew another more vigorous sister but that got nicked. Smells really strange, like meat stock cubes and some unknown herb. Crumbled dry bud is sweet and mysterious. There are smells of dank quality but they’re not always noticeable because another smell is so conflicting on top. Vaping this stuff is amazing - first bag is like meat, fruit and flowers all at once. There’s something quite bitter in it too, and even a little vinegar. Some strong flavours in second and even third bags, something like cherry emerges as it gets dried and powderised. Stinks out the room with shitty smells and deep, dank odours - quite surprising when you come back in to the room. Bit sleepy, still social and not actually a big hitter despite the flavours. Luxurious feel to it, this buzz is a lot like one of last year’s Lebcheese, the roast chicken phenotype.
Guest Nunsacred
Strain/breeder: OG18 x Skunk/Danish Gold (anon.) Harvest time: 24th October - not ready, needed another 2-3 weeks Latitude of grow: 52N Location: Good conditions, but lacking sunrise exposure Average yield: 80g ? didn’t weigh it Mould: none Potency: 84% Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Probably Smells hashy & musty, a bit pissy, a mix of nice and not nice, quite spicy overall. Crumbled bud is sweet and appealing. Reminds me of freshly chopped ginger in some ways. Most of this plant went into hash production because I didn’t rate the smell/taste very highly and the buds were immature, and annoying to trim. However the remainder, after curing, is much more appealing than expected. Hit is strong with a good balance, a strong rush without trip or shutdown. An earlier sister of this could be a real stunner. Shame this one didn't get flowering more quickly....
Guest Nunsacred
Strain/breeder: CFP Foundation (Cafe Paradis)Harvest time: 7th OctoberLatitude of grow: 52NLocation: shaded, hidden by roadside saplings (poor site)Average yield: 24gMould: 2% - a few seed calyxes turned brownPotency: 92%Year of grow: 2011Grow again: YesSmells and tastes amazing......Orange, pineapple, molasses, vanilla....plus chemical sweet tang, like epoxy resin.Buzz is truly excellent, intense mid-high end of spectrum. Sort of champagne fizz pressure behind the eyes, hilarious. This is not a casual smoke - it’s way out of the standard Dutch hybrid league, and I am careful to save it for special occasions. It even affects my hearing. Edited January 27, 2015 by distracted
Guest Nunsacred
Strain/breeder: Lebcheese x Arne’s Hash Plant (HybridsFromHell) Harvest time: 4th October & 24th October Latitude of grow: 52N Location: both sites decent soil, no prep (one site shaded by 30ft trees). Average yield: 55g (2 plants included here) Mould: 1% - great resistance Potency: 82% Year of grow: 2011 Grow again: Yes My own hack.... 2 very different phenotypes... The AHP dominant one tastes just like last year’s AHP auntie, shocking - that bitter, sour pickled onion and puke theme underlying the same stunning Haze hit. Possibly better yielding bud structure than the auntie plant, but this one was shaded, so yield was low. The LC dominant one -link to the harvest post Smells sweet and bitter, like cocoa powder, or carob. Beginning to resemble the mother plant flavour distantly, but probably never going to get close. High potency, but lost the clarity of the Haze and the magic of the LC mother, got something in between. Stupefying, slightly trippy buzz, not colours or trails but fish-eye lens/perspective stuff instead. Another few months' cure might make this one a nice huff indeed, but it's the sister plants which hold the real promise here, maybe a back cross.
