yossman
Ok peep's lets get right to the point,i think it would be a good idea to start a topic ,that new and old growers a like could use as a database for tried and tested outdoor strains for the uk.....we have some great growers on here, with sound knowledge and experience,so lets at least get some basics down on good or bad strains for our soggy climate.......i have seen on other grow sites a simple way to document strains grown outdoor, and thought we could do with a uk version thats nice ,simple and straight to the point. Strain/breeder: Harvest time: Latitude of grow: Location: Average yield: Mold: Potency: Year of grow: Grow again: pics would be most welcome (Dutch,Danish north european grows also would be nice) com on folks don't be shy give it a try Here's one to start Strain/breeder:passion#1 dutch passion Harvest time:25th-30th september Latitude of grow:53nl Location:uk Average yield 5-6 0z Potency:6/10(7/10 pink pheno) nice uplifting high energy buzz Year of grow:2008 Grow again:Yes,great strain for new and oldgrowers It is a good idea yossman and will now be pinned in the Guerrilla Growing forum. This thread has been pinned and is purely a database for the strains that have already been grown outdoors in the UK. Any off topic posts will be deleted. O.G. Guest dpn
Strain/Breeder: Guerilla gold 3/greens Harvest time: late sept/early oct Latitude of grow: 50 location: outskirts of small woodland (in the brambles) Average yield: above average (never weighed) Mold: yes (those big dense buds dont like mold) Potency: 7-8/10 year of grow: 2009 Grow again: nope, heartbreaking seeing those lovely buds chopped to bits im feeling the candian climate, even though were on the same latitude, is much drier than ours... big mold problems, as this strain likes to focus on making big colas. I will be growing bc haze x gg x c99 though. I would grow a gg cross again only if it has some sativa to open up those buds and help with mold, hence bc haze
yossman
Strain/breeder:Bluecheese/big budda Harvest:4-5th november/still needed at least 2 weeks to fully finish Latitude:53nl Location:woodland Average yield:6 0z Mold:very little Potency:8/10 best outdoor weed i have had.taste, smell and high wise... Year of grow:2009 Grow again:No much to late, buds were very leafy, and for the size of the plant,i only ended up with a small yeild. But must add, would make a great cross with some early strains, just for the flavours alone..

treeofsatta
Strain/Breeder:KC 33 by KC Brains Harvest time: 10th October Latitude of grow:51.4 location:Fertile rural Average yield: 1.5oz Mold:Some Potency:7/10 year of grow: 2009 Grow again:Possibly... Unfortunately we did not get it out very early, which is why I think it was a bit of a late finisher with a low yield. It grew to about 1.5m tall and the buds are very tasty. Bit leafy but tasty still and very crystally, probably great for making hash. It was my first time and I'm confident that in the hands of a better grower, it would produce a lot better! ~Satta

wakenbaker
Strain/breeder: Nemesis/Seedsman Harvest time: 31st Oct Latitude of grow: 53 Location: Clay scrub and woodland Average yield: 1/2 - 1 oz estimate Mold: Yes Potency: 6/10 Year of grow: 2009 Grow again: Nope Note Low yields most probably due to germinating late and soils too clayish. Wont do again because it finished too late. Baker
