The square plastic cereal containers from Asda I mentioned are cool for jarring weed, the sealing mechanism works perfectly, they're what I use (they stack well too cos the lids are flat, not that I've yet grown enough to need stacking jars lol ).

Just be careful mate,  i find stacking those type can depress the centre and leads to ever so slightly lifting of the seal edge.

I have use them but i dont stack them :yep:

Agreed...surely using plastic containers or coffee jars smell can leak...wouldn't take the chance myself.

Ey up ya cheeky get lol , the ones from asda are supposed to be for food storage, lying bastards, what's even the point of putting a seal on it other than being visibly disingenuous!

Buy cheap, buy twice & once bitten, twice shy, rolled into one!

I'm picking up a couple of kilners tomorrow, i'll only need the one this run i should imagine, but now i wan't some nice pillows again too :D , what a big girls blouse :D

Only EVER fill a jar 2/3 full !!!!    it needs room to breathe sir ,   overfill and i guarentee it will turn brown & furry in a few days.

An avergae auto i use a 1ltr    ,  an average fem  1.5ltr or 3ltrs mate

Not if properly dried. I always fill mine right up and never burp either. Sometimes the bud is in there for months and still a lovely smoke. :yep:

Indeedy, a nice decent thread count (none of that 800 plus bullshit though, because it is bullshit) , lordy it makes such a difference, if you know, you know, and if you don't, give it a try! :D

I love how this has ended up becoming a discussion about actual decent curing jars....and fecking bedding :D what the actual fuck!!! :Dlol

2nd this :yep:

I could never go back to clip tops.

There's also these cheap ones in Home Bargins that have the exact same screw tops without the Kilners logo.

These smaller ones are hand so you don't have to keep opening the big jars.

You were absolutely right, APOLOGIES EVERYONE, the twatting things aren't even water tight, let alone airtight.....

I’ve tweaked the metal clips with pliers in the past to make them clip together tighter and that worked :yep:
