There's nothing quite like some hash that's been aged near on a year. Delicious shit man. I'm salivating thinking about the smell of it. Pulling it apart, after it's been long aged, and it's all gooey once you crack the outer shell. So good. I just finshed pressing/kneading/heating etc our castoff trim and sub-par plant wash from the 2023 season. Right at two ounces of bubble split between two dudes. I’ve only used about half of that wee ball so far I’ll have to get the glass rolling pin out and press the rest of the hash that’s sitting there so I’ll have some 1 year old hash for next year. I’m delighted with the quality of the coconut oil made from material that’s been through the water and removed a lot of the green from it. I can't seem to taste any of the green in my oil, its really tasty intact.. I've so much of it now so didnt make anymore but I've 2 jars of decarbed leftovers from the last 2 sift runs but I will have no room left in the fridge if I do but I'm doing my best to reduce the stock I've got..I just keep finding more every time I move a few boxes in the lockup I forgot a vac packed a load couple years back too 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You decarb and then add to oil, whereas I combine water and coconut oil together and decarb whilst infusing. I'm regularly stirring my pot which is on a low boil for around 3 hours, which give lots of opportunity to leach out the Chlorophyll into the oil. That's why a bubble run helps reduce this for me. Might be worth ordering a spare glass wand I dropped my original twice snapped it in half first time so was still usable then dropped it again while hot and smashed into pieces.
