Is it really

Can i ask a question you clown

What happens to a appliance overloaded by amperage?

A- does it work correctly

B- does it overload and cause fires

C- does it break the appliance eventually

None of the above,

instead a correctly rated fuse will blow.

This will stop the flow of electrons,

causing the appliance to stop working until the fault has been rectified and the fuse has been replaced.

Or you could try replacing the fuse without rectifying the fault lol

That's not the job of a fuse,

it is in place only as circuit overload protection.

The incorrect fuse is not responsible for appliances buzzing.

I enjoy teaching Physics,

i hope you're taking notes :oldtoker:

I'll do my best to stick to Si units :)

Atb

Ps. Retard might be a trigger word in today's society ;)

I already told you, correlation does not imply causation.

A fuse makes no difference whatsoever to an electrical circuit until and unless it blows.

If you changed a fuse and your light stopped buzzing/humming/overheating then you unwittingly changed something else at the same time, probably a loose connection.

Do me a favour and wind it in mate.

If you feel your knowledge on the matter is superior then feel free to share it in a positive and constructive manner.

If your gonna start throwing around insults like clown and retard to other members when it's completely unnecessary then expect to have your posting privileges withdrawn.

We have quite a few full time qualified sparks on the site so if you do post incorrect information and or bad advice then it's only natural they will pull you on it.

And not to ridicule you in anyway.

But to ensure the safety of other members reading.

Don't take it or make it personal.

Many thanks for your cooperation, nice1 ta :yep:

When you learn how to use correct fuses in plugs I'll give you top ratings

Also have you spent 450 quid on a light like a boss no you havent

When you do let me know

So we  can have a common ground on a topic instead of trying to troll me regarding fuse issues

Suck your mum

Say the 3 amp fuse is exactly a 3l litre container , could the container take 3.133 litres and not spill any ?

You definitely seem sure of yer own convictions that's a given, perhaps try being less standoffish and take on board what folk are trying to tell you, heck they might just be right, you are the only one arguing your standpoint after all.

You've already had a very polite warning from dodgee , it'd pay to heed that bro :yep:
