Puffdiddy Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 Hiya I’ve recently set up and started running 8 x 58L pot v system from alien. I’m set up in a 3 x 1.5 x 2.2 tent with 2 x 630w Omega Luna Pro’s - 6’ carbon filter with revolution V2 small fan heater and humidifier controlled by GAS enviro controller Keeping consistent temps of 27’ On and 22” off and humidity of 45’ and 55’ nutrient temps are 22 ( is that too hot ?) PH is 6.3 my plants are 16 days old ( from seed ) and I put them into the system yesterday. I started them in Rootits and then put into Growdans before putting into the baskets. I have started them on the GH 3 part nutes with one dose of Pro Roots when I was watering by hand, and I added silver bullet roots - The roots have started taking off and are now into the solution on most of the plants. mum still only on second set of leaves - my questions are so numerous may I just ask for your guidance and help in what I should be looking out for - what I should really be doing to help my chances of a successful grow wit this type of system? Are there any things I should be really keeping an eye on now ? I almost feel a bit lost for things to do!! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

badbillybob Posted March 6, 2022 Share Posted March 6, 2022 hi, what ec are you feeding them? aim for 0.6/0.8EC , and lower your ph to under 6, somewhere nearer 5.7-5.9ph. it will naturally rise over a few days. If you havnt got a chiller, keep the res temps below 22 if you can. if you cant, get a chiller.... i used to run thier rdwc pro 58 litre system, it worked pretty well. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It’s a 480L SYSTEM. When you say what EC are you feeding them should I be dozing down my nutes to hit the EC based on volume of water rather than just off the bottle 1ml a L type of thing ? If so I’m a bit high My EC is 0.8-1.0 temp 22 I’ve ordered a chiller this morning - I’ll need one as I’m in a treble garage , uninsulated and cold at the mo - 12’ day 9’ night it’ll definitely rise up a few degrees over the next month or so - thanks for your help 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
